I just received an e-mail telling me to RP or have my account deleted. Well I'd love to RP, but I'm still waiting on the admin to decide for me (although I don't agree with that either) who MY death note should go to. For some reason, I can't just drop it on someone's head that I want to, but instead the admin must choose.
SO, until then, I'm stuck waiting and being inactive, only to find that the inactivity that I'm caused by not being allowed to choose for myself threatens my existence on this board. In any case, I just hope this enlightens some people and allows them to see the problems here. If for some reason the admin gets angry about my truthful post, then I apologize for reiterating the rules in a less positive way.

I don't think those messages were meant to be so direct, they were sent to everyone even me and I'm actively posting in a thread at the moment. I don't believe accounts of people will be deleted under certain conditions and I see you online every now and then so I don't think there should be a problem on that part considering that the Admins do like to evaluate who you would get the deathnote you're to give... I guess its for rp quality but w.e
Your on alot and I think you in-activeness for now is strictly understandable ;P

I somewhat agree with you Pity.
Only problem with Me, is the fact that I AM posting, but no one is replying, which is quite annoying...

Ahh. Raito is very understanding. You shouoldn't be deleted if you were to argue your case to them.
If you were to just PM Raito and tell them you are indeed active, but unable to participate, you shouldn't be deleted.

All of the above are indeed correct. It was a mass email sent to everyone, even the active posters. And Neko, we know you're rping. The fact that no one is replying is the problem. L and I are not stupid, nor unfair. But what we are is frustrated.
And Pity, what you stated is common sense. If you thought we would actually delete you, you are quite wrong. And rather than complain about it here, you could have very well PMed either L or I to discuss it with us as Near suggested. As for us choosing, it's because we don't want less literate members who would be unable to forward the plot recieve Death Notes. Plain and simple. This also prevents people from creating Shinigami and giving a Death Note to themselves.

arent us shinigami allowed for people to see us without exactly giving the deathnote to anyone? That is what the other shinigami have been doing, and I am very sure it is not against the rules. Just don’t have everybody being able to see you or it ruins the mystery of the character and your deathnote becomes entirely useless. If I’m wrong, tell me so.

No, Oana, you are correct. But I've been letting that pass as the activity around here has prevented L and I from handing out the Death Notes. We don't want a million Death Notes when we don't have the members to support them.

allright, so do you want us shinigami not to reply in official forums until we are allowed to drop it or do you want to restrict the rules for a shinigami or will the rules still apply in their same manner?

The rules haven't changed ^^ There's been no direct interference with the plot so the threads may continue on as normal. If there are ever changes, we do let the members know.

no problemo. But we stand by what we said. And yes, everyone got one because I didn't feel like plucking out the members that NEEDED to see it because that never works for me. That and everyone needs to know that the admin is now cracking down XD
