I realize that it would be pointless to force you to work for you and I also realize that it would not be completely satisfactory to just bribe you. Therefore, I intend to try to make you willing to join. The fact that you have not drawn his attention yet, would help our cause greatly. Not to mention, you could make something out of yourself that you would of had no chance from before. I wish you would see it my way, but if you are untrusting in general this could prove quite difficult. So, how could I, a humble man, gain your trust and therefore your loyalty?"
He believed that that was the best way to ask the question gently. If he was too forward he would only draw suspision from her. But, if he was to out of the way in his question, he would never get to his point in reasonable time and lose her interest. Not to mention, he had other matters that needed to be tended to that night and he was already late for the first. But sometimes, you had to give some to get some. He hoped that worked in this situation.

Kagumi hid her head under the sunhat once again, her curiosity was beginning to impede her common judgement and it frustrated her to no end, but she couldn't let Kin know that her mind was in conflict or else he might get whatever it was he was looking for, now thoughts of her becoming the unsuspecting pawn rose in her throat, one fear that kept her from the spk and the kira task force ever since the investigation began. " Are you late for something, you sound like you are trying to shoo it off." She replied observantly, " no wonder you want anv answer so fast..." The offer was tempting her, "I wouldn't know what you could do, you tell me mr.kin...you seem like you are holding something back right now..." Judging by how long this dragged, he was intent on walking out with her loyalty even if it took all day, the boy hated to loose. She could feel in her gut though, that there was something he had yet to tell, would it change her vote to yes? Or to absolutetly not?he had already preyed on her weaknesses once, she wasn't about to let anything about him or her let her guard down or prey on anything else.

Kin grinned at her persistency. She would definetly do if she joined his side. It was also all the more reason to be avoiding of just diposing her. He supposed he could tell her about some of the other doings, but it carried certain risks with it. But, if it brought her to his side he could not complain. Not to mention, he could always kill her when she was all used up. He supposed that was just how the world worked.
"Well. I see that your sense of curiosity has gotten a hold on you. I will humour you, I suppose, so that I will not be too late to my...apointment," he said pausing for a few seconds pondering on what to call it," You may have heard of the overthrow of government within Italy, as you would say it. Well, I was behind those developments. I believed that the world viewed poorly on my changes, but I guess they are not ready for that kind of change. Now, I am no Kira with plans to make a new world or something like that. I would rather have my views excepted and welcomed by the people of this cold planet. I hope you can see similiarly to my beliefs. If this is not enough to convince you, I will allow you to leave. But, you would best to forget this meeting completely for your own good."
It wasn't exactly the worst surprise he had ever given, but he was sure that this girl could supply an aptle reaction to what he said. For, if nothing better came from this meeting, at least he had killed some time and met someone to definetly keep tabs on full-time. While he waited, he sat back grinning to himself.

Kagumi was starting to get frustrated at how easy it was for him to put her guard down yet a second time, her eyebrows raised, and her lip gave a tempted lustful, greedy twitch that wanted her to take this offer, but she wouldnt let those words of defeat slip from her lips, even though she was more than ready to accept this offer, her hands wrung in frustration, and she looked up at him but at the same time tried to avoid his gaze and her flushed one. Somehow, her feet shifted in a fear that the heat would get to her and she would pass out as she did in her childhood when her body couldnt allow her to agree with a descision. she had been at a loss for words and she took a deep breath,
Her minds eye began scanning for that article, she remembered someone talking about a man that overthrew italy, some guy who brought up supporters and allowed for their deaths when he had no more use for them, her heart rang with cruel laughter, and that laughter replaced temptation on her ruby lips. " You...that was you?" she said tipping her hat down to cover the flush she hoped he didnt see, " very fascinating, very...."

So, she had some lust in her after all. It seemed that the deal was getting better and better. Now all he had to do was wring her in and get the deal. He was already quite late to the meeting, but if he brought with him such a prize, his tardy would be easily overlooked. Very easily indeed.
"Oh, i will not take all of the credit in our grand revolution, but I was the driving force of it. Thankfully, the police were too ignorant to see the working minds behind this movement such as I. Taking a more direct route of power could have been much more satisfactory, true, but I found no challenge in it. Not even the precious L could know that I was behind the revolution. Especcially after I destroyed the evidence in a destructive manner," he said now chuckling to himself.
He was surprised that such a young girl carried such great temptations, but he did not doubt them. Sitting in the backseat of your life for so long with no control brought on certain traits to people. Thankfully, the girl seemed to be experiencing these traits. It seemed that this arrangement was getting better by the second.

Her moth twitched again, and for a brief moment, her dull fangs glinted with something she hadnt felt like at all. She was new to most of the outside world, and everything was beginning to fall into place. with the shifting of her feet, the bell gave a small tinkle and her eyes met his, this time with the same childishness she gave the waitress. her smile was now nothing short of faint and maybe a little forced as the song's lyrics rang in her ears
the future the forbidden fruit fortells
im gonna turn that dream into a reality...
" These things...." she murmured, " I wonder if you could..." she had lost her words and her hands gripped on the hem of her skirt.

"You wonder if could what? I believe that I could easily give you what you desire. Power to control your own life. Or maybe revenge against long forgotten enemies perhaps? The possibilities are endless. The only problem on the manner is if you accept or if you turn your back on such a tempting offer. So, what are you going to do?"
Kin was actually quite pleased on how things turned out. She seemed so thirsty for power of some sort. He was surprised that she had not gone after it before with her obvious talents, but he suposed she had never been given such an oppurtunity to sieze the outside world. And now that it was within her grasp, it seemed that she would do whatever it took to grab it. That was if she was smart enough to grab it. He highly doubted that she could live without it now that she had seen the possibilities, but he knew that such things would have to be handled in care or he would likely receive the short end of the stick.

somehow, this plethora of thoughts racing through her mind nearly boggled her, tempting her to no end. but something in the back of her mind still kept her from any kind of descision. Her lips curled in agitation, but her mind suddenly, as if under a trance, shut that doubt away as if it were just an insignificant bug, it shocked her, it amazed her, but going back to her normal life in whammy house was nothing compared to what he could offer. Maybe it was isolation that told her yes, but suddenly she looked up to Kin, her auburn eyes blank as glass, " well then Mr.Kin..." She murmured, her cheeks bright red again, looking up into his face. her faint smile, tried to get wider, but only suceeded to make it a millimeter or two before she could spit it out.
" I guess i couldnt refuse after all," she said failing at a chuckle, " so then, when do you want me to start?"

"Well, only a fool could refuse. I suppose that while I should let you get some rest, I need to have a reason on being late to the meeting. I would take that you would be willing to go so that I could give you a proper introduction. Of course, if you are too worn out to go, I can easily explain to them your absence. Then again, if you are up to it then you could get a feel of your teamates," or competition Kin thought to himself.
She definetely had a lot of potential, but for now she was still raw. The key to her success would be to refine those skills into something usable and helpful. If that could be achieved, then she would be quite deadly indeed. But, if she got too much too quickly he feared that she would be overwhelmed. So, he would take it easy for now, but she would soon enough get what she wanted. Too bad she would have to be patient. But, if she couldn't wait a couple weeks, then that was simply her problem. With those thoughts in mind, he stood up out of his chair and made his way to the meeting. He didn't look back to see if she was following, but he had no doubts that she would surely come. Well, at least no doubts so far....

It still surprised her how much of a fight dhe put up, but it made her feel all of the more restless when she took a breath. She had just accepted the offer of a lifetime and it at the same time lifted something off of her shoulders.
She watched in surprise as he got up to walk away to his meeting, she looked from him to the general direction of whereb whammy house was " I don't think they'd mind if I stayed out a little longer."She said to herself
Her body didn't give her time to decide, suddenly, she slid off of the chair and she was running after him, her long legs pumping to catch up. "Wait for me!" The difference between them was so odd it looked like a child running after her father as she held her sunhat tight on her head trying to catch up. She could go to the meeting with him and then go home to rest, whammy house wopuldnt miss her
