Well, I hate to do this but I will.
Since I have been waiting for reassignment since my previous death note holder randomly quit the board, I've been officially waiting to post for over a month now. I was told that I could choose my next Death Note holder, and when I made known who I wanted, I was told to wait so the Admin could talk it over. This wait has lasted four weeks now, and I'm getting to the point where I'm beginning to lose interest.
I come here at least twice a day to check if I have PMs, and I'm always online and on messengers, with the admin all on my list so they can contact me when they've made their decision, so this can't be a failure to communicate. I DO know the admin are busy people, but if something this minor takes a month, then what happens when something major happens?
The point is, I'm not trying to bash the board. I in fact like the board, however it seems I can't stay. I was asked by one of the admin personally if I planned on leaving, and I said no, but regretfully I have to re-evaluate this. As much as I would like to continue RPing here, I can't until the admin allow me to. I found this to be kind of sad, since I was accepted on the board the day I posted my application. That day I thought this board had great admin. The admin are understanding and nice, but I think that speed was a fluke.
Thanks for understanding that I am NOT trying to insult this board. I WOULD come back to it, but first I would want things to change a bit about how long it takes to get this kind of thing taken care of. Let me know if and when that happens.
