In conclusion the actions kira has taken to change this world for thew better give the people of the world full right to worship him for the hero he truly is. He is the answer to all of our prayers,
Kira is GOD!
With that final grueling sentence, kagumi sighed and leaned back, the reporters notebook she got not too long ago finally filled with the 20 page essay a pro-kira supporter would write. With the accumulation of opinions she got from the city people, she had peiced together an important part of her disguise. It wasn't enough anymore to claim anything, she had to create proof. She had spent all night with research thinking up the supporting editorial for a debate, though being a neutral person in the investigation , writing the drivel obviously found some way to make her feel better
With pen in hand she laid it in the other hand, massaging it gingerly as she thought. To be outside in her normal clothes, normal scruffy black hair and her own hazel eyes was dangerous enough as it is. She leaned her head back on the bench and looked up into the sky where fluffy white clouds floated carelessly by. " The sky doesn't always match the earth." She said in a dreamy voice. She decided to say something, " the sky knows there is peace for us now that judgement day has fallen, the evil are condemned and peace will come."

"Judgement day...such a hackneyed phrase. Judgement takes more than one day...it's a process only the strong and the true can carry out."
The voice came from behind, soft and intelligent, with an air of authority. Unruly raven hair blew just a little bit in the soft breeze, the only thing out of place on the man's person - his full six feet of height neat as a pin besides the mane.
Mikami had been taking a walk through the park to clear his head - the case files he had just worked on were tedious and disorganized, and he needed his break time today. He just happened to have been walking by when he heard the mumbled little phrase...and finding it an intriguing statement, he had chosen to respond.
With one trained movement, he reached up to adjust his glasses.

Kagumi had never thought there would be a reaction to her words, but she accepted them openly. The voice came from behind, so she craned her neck farther arond the bench, her sparkling amber eyes meeting his own eyes. He was older, by how much she knew not, but her eyes pierced the deep and dark pools and she grinned. She liked a challenge.
" Is thst so?" She asked. " What limits you to believe it will not come when the signs are all around you? Do you not see this as preperation where the meek will soon rise? Where god will shine on us as the chosen?"

Even when the young woman grinned at him, he did not grin back - nor did he show the hint of a smile. He was rather humorless for a man of twenty-one years...stern beyond his age, and jaded to match.
"I don't think judgement day will come in the form of one day because judgement has already begun. God has already begun to delete the wicked from our society...to create a better world for the righteous." Stepping forward a pace, he rolled his shoulders a bit, stretching them after being at his desk. He couldn't wait to go to the gym.
"...And the chosen will be the ones to enjoy the peace that will come...but these changes are not sudden. They're more subtle...they've already begun."

Kagumi took in his answer, this guy seemed a force to be reckoned with, though her eyes tried to pierce through his, what resuted was something of a drowning feeling. That was odd, it didn't make sense to her that anyone could do that anymore.
She was ecstatic for the acceptance, it meant it was worth it, a lot more fun than turning up at a kira rally, " delete..." With a chuckle she lifted her leg and swung it around to face him, " the games only begins, soon god shall choose his angel to aid him, only when he is chosen can we be at peace." Her black hair was now swept around her eyes as she conrtinued to hold his gaze, " what we see leads us to that moment."

But Mikami just held his ground, unmoved. He was a lawyer - a prosecutor by trade. He knew how to wage an argument...how to put on a poker face. His dark brown eyes remained stoic...there was a power behind them. Faith. Faith, and lots of it.
"Perhaps that is true...perhaps someday soon, God will choose one to help him. Maybe more than one. But that does not change the fact that the judgement has already begun. Judgement is when the wicked get what they deserve - and hasn't that been happening already?"
It was clear that he had argued this point many times before...in fact, he had been to many a Kira rally, and he was always very vocal.
Nice to find someone who can speak closer to my level.

Already kagumi's eyes glittered with the interest only she could understand. Though it took her effort, the drowning stopped and she had found what she was looking for, the deep eyes showed her power, the kind of power she had only seen in her father before he died. She could feel it all wash over her and the look in his eyes only drove her.
" That's right, as a matter of fact, judgement begins, the wicked come to a close, they are getting what they deserve, though judgement has already come, the day the curtain falls will speak volumes as no one has seen!"

In spite of himself...the shadows of a smile tugged at Mikami's lips. This was a great conversation to refresh his mind on his break...better than he could have hoped for when he went on his walk. His eyes still carried power, but now he let his face show more pride than it had been.
"Volumes are already being spoken, Miss...it's just that most can't hear it for what it is. I can hear it - and it seems that you can, too." Deciding to be polite, he produced a business card from his pocket, holding it out to her with a bow.
Mikami Teru - Criminal Prosecutor.
Mikami Teru...a name that was often heard at Kira rallies.

They seemed to have reached a sudden impass, it was a first for her and it was probably something new by the looks of it, especially when the debate was only with a young girl. She felt her smile warm and she took the card with the middle and index finger, shifting it in between them to read it, "Mikami Teru..." One bright amber eye appeared from behind the card, " prosecutor, a fine specimen you are sir prosecutor." Her own smile grew wider at what seemed to be a satisfactory look on the more relaxed face, " I am kagumi michiyo, known only as kage to few."

Mikami nodded in acknowledgement, moving his briefcase in front of him where he could hold it with both hands. His shoulders were back, stance proud and strong.
"Thank you for the compliment. A pleasure to meet you, then, Miss Kagumi. Very astute for a student...I wasn't expecting to have such an intelligent conversation. Makes nice contrast to the idiots I was just dealing with at work. Most of them don't understand my views, anyhow."
With neat strides, Mikami walked around to the front of the bench - he preferred to speak face-to-face, and she certainly didn't look comfortable as she could be, slung over the bench like she was. He didn't invite himself to sit, however...he wasn't much for social situations. This was remarkably friendly for him, in fact - if the very beginning of the conversation hadn't been about his views on God and judgement, he wouldn't be even this lukewarm.

Her mind absorbed his reassuring words as well as his movements. All but his hair were in perfect order, down to his thin glasses. His neatness seemed not to bother her, so when he came to the conclusion to turn and sit in the bench as she was meant to, the essay in her lap.
" Its sad really, I would never figured how few and far between such beliefs truly are among supporters. You are truly one of a kind Sir Prosecutor." She noticed he really seemed off kilter without gesture, so she offered one, " sit sir prosecutor, rest, I assume that's your desire."

Once offered, Mikami did sit down - a graceful, smooth motion. He still didn't really commit to a smile...he never really did. He never really smiled in the presence of others anymore, merely because he never felt a reason to. Still, there was the tiniest turn to his lips...which was more than most people got to see.
"Thank you...just Mikami is fine. I hear enough of my title at work." Calmly, he set his briefcase on his lap, resting his hands atop it. As if it were a mechanical impulse, he checked his watch - forty-five minutes more of his break.
"There are those who will nod and pretend to agree, just to appease me...or there are those who will try to argue. I've met a handful of people who share my views, but most are highly superficial - or trying to save their own necks. Useless creatures."

The turn of his lips made the girl giggle. He was a little tense, but she didn't blame the guy, he was a prosecutor. So this was the closest she felt she would get, she could push for more, but she was unsure of the effectiveness. " that is how the human race has come to live mikami, in a useless fight for survival," she pushed her hair out or her face," while many follow god, few support him, they are the weakest ones, and as god wills, they will be picked away by him so that way the true kneel at his feet." It wad a strong statement, but mikami seemed to understand it almost better than she, she looked at him almost like a pupil, ears open and eyes on his, the drowning feeling returning, but now it was more blissful than frightening.
She put the business card in the pocket of her notebook to save for a later date, then looked down to see him check his watch, he was a neat freak adversely to her. She had plenty of time in her hands, she was worked to the bone though with the series of notebooks to fill and the classes, yet it made her have less time in her hands to preen herself. she brushed her hair multiple times though it falls back into place that way, she didnt feel it worth the effort to rid herself of the bags in her bright sleepless eyes. the only thng she felt the effort to do was wash her clothes, playing with the few clothes she had. she wasnt necesarily dirty, just unkempt and relaxed. she wondered to herself whether she felt the need to ask him how pressed he was, but if she had gotten this far, with this much progress, it prided her to know someone of high standards like the Sir Prosecutor found her worth the time.

At first, it seemed as if he was evaluating her statement...running over it in his mind, eyes intense and serious. Mikami seemed to be that way about everything, really...very serious, very composed. As he thought, he tugged down his sleeve over his watch again, subconsciously making sure it was perfectly straight.
But then he spoke, and his voice was devoid of scorn.
"...Exactly." He approved of her statement, and the little turn tugged at the corners of his lips again. "The true and the devoted will be rewarded for our virtues, while the useless WILL be deleted." There was a short pause as he considered what to say next...his practice talking about Kira obvious.
"...Most are simple-minded enough only to believe that the criminals will be judged...but I believe with all my heart that God will judge the useless, too - the unproductive. Those who sit by and let the criminals be...those who don't stick their necks out...they will be judged for what they were not brave enough to do. For not believing enough in God to act. I'm a Prosecutor to further God's efforts...to show my faith in true justice."
It was obvious that this man was beyond simply devoting his words to Kira....
He had devoted his life.

Her gaze had been glassy as he continued in speaking of the wicked, then to the useless. She whimpered slightly at the thought of being back where she was, three boys had cornered her behind school and began to beat her, for no reason at all but out of pure spite. She remembered lying in the ground, whimpering like she was right now, begging the kids in a circle around them for help, but no one would, they just watched like hawks, some laughing, some rocks. They did this to her, they still do, every day after she went there, and all she had to do was stay out as long as she could. And since she had no friends, who would help her?
She had realized she was in that trance when she snapped out of it, lifting her head from her knees, which had slid into her the minute she felt that pain. she did not move from this position, she merely lifted her head and looked at him through her hair, " I have those people, those who hurt me and those who watch, who no matter how hard I call out to them they won't help me, and say I don't deserve it because I have no friends," she wiped a shiny tear from her cheek," they are just as bad as the men who hurt me, they deserve to be deleted." She gave a tiny apologetic smile at this moment of weakness.
