Humankind, at its core, is not always the kindest of races. More often than not, however, civilization will lean towards the side of peace, if not universal, then reasonably wide spread. It is in these eras that an outside force will move in, tainting the peace so carefully maintained and taint it with the purest evil they can muster.

In a time long before human recording, before the human race as we know it, there lay the Silver Millennium, a period of peace, advancement, and enlightenment. Such peace, though, will often have those seeking to destroy it. It just happened in this case that a powerful evil, the Negaverse, was the antagonist in this story, waging a seemingly endless war that resulted in the ruin of the Moon Kingdom and those around it. At this point, there was no chance of repair to the human race, and so was left a blank canvas on which the human race could recreate itself.

The Earth of today is hardly the peaceful civilization of an era past remembrance. Wars between countries, petty jealousies, and self-fulfillment seem to be in fashion, however the age-old practices of friendship and kindness die hard, and are still very firmly in place. It is into this world that the most prominent figures of the Silver Millennium – less its queen – have been reborn, without any memories of the past they once had.

Instead, they have been awakened as Sailor Senshi, fighting against the evil that, once again, has reared its head. Though the Dark Kingdom’s intentions this time are not to take over the world, the toll their endeavors place upon humanity to achieve their true goal – to free Queen Metaria, and to then make their world their own – is such that Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus have been left with no choice but to sacrifice a normal life in order to keep their world intact.

History tends to repeat itself, and in the thirtieth century, a new Silver Millennium has been created. Once again, though, an evil threatens to spoil the peace so carefully maintained. The Black Moon Clan, for reasons unknown, is systematically laying siege to the borders of Crystal Tokyo, looking for any give that they can use to take its core. Peace is again disrupted, slowly spreading seeds of doubt that a true utopia can ever be achieved. From princess, to modern-day teenager, to superhero, to queen, however, Serenity and those closest to her will not go down without a fight.

Time After Time is a multi-era, no-collision roleplay based on the Sailor Moon anime and manga. While we encourage canon characters, we will always welcome originals, who are free to involve themselves in the overall storyline, or focus simply on the “real-life” aspects.
