Some say it's the heart of all magic, and those who attend the
prominent Ardnieu University would be hard-pressed to disagree!
Located in the Aran islands, just off the coast of the Ireland West
Region, you'll find a sprawling campus with a population as diverse as
the many creatures who fill the Keep. Here, students bent on a higher
level of education will find a unique setting in which to play, study, live,
grow, and make friends for life! From the complexities of the Magical
Sciences to the wonders of the Magical Arts, Ardnieu University has
every subject a witch or wizard could dream of studying. Including, but
not limited to, such unique subejcts as Alchemy, Healing, Magical
Psychology, Occlumency, DADA (the official Auror program!), Magical
Languages, Wizarding Business, Fine Arts, Magical Theater, and
Wizarding Media!
But it's not all about studying! The extracurricular activies are plenty!
Join in (or start!) a student-organized club. Hang out with your best
buds at the White Hippogriff, located in the nearby, student-friendly
village of Ballymarrey, or hit the shops and boutiques in Keiltagh Circle,
the magical district of Dublin. Grab a pint (or a dancing partner) and
dive headfirst into one of the infamous parties at Gormlaith tower, or
play hardcore Quidditch for the champion Alastar Tower team! And let's
not forget the many special events hosted by the school! The Autumn
festival - with its carnival and masquerade - may be the highlight, but
few would argue that the New Year's Ball and Spring Break excursions
run a very close second!
Worried about the OOC community? Don't be! Ardnieu has a loyal,
moderately sized base of regular members who are as friendly and
welcoming as any you'll find! We have loads of OOC features, too -
from Tri-Moon Bank (where you can earn Gold for participation), to The
Creative Source (where you can gain and develop all sorts of creative
ideas), to the ever-rampant Randomness (our general chat thread)!
