you know what your parents think about musicians. they're dangerous and harder than heck to fall out love with. but oh baby, are they tempting. and the artistic geniuses? their art and their writing is just them expressing themselves because of all the estrangement and neglect in their pathetic and sad lives. parents. they sure make it their top priority to stereotype people eh?
but what if you're not good at anything else? what if you can't catch a football or hit a baseball? what if the only thing that you have a knack for is screaming hateful lyrics into microphones and splashing innocent canvases with gray and black paint? well, we welcome you to analine, california. where all the parents care about is helping their kids rise to the top.
los angeles. where stars are born. have you ever heard anything as cliche as that phrase? as cliche as it might be, it's also very, very untrue. stars are born and raised in analine but, as soon as they see their bright futures only a few miles ahead on the road of success, they just leave. but, why do they leave? well, my friends, it's quite simple: it's a small town and small towns lead to mental institutions.
it's like a tour but without the record deals, photoshoots and kickoff parties. every may analine shore high school hosts a battle of the bands. the winner plays at the homecoming dance the following school year in october.
if you live here and you have no artistic talent whatsoever, just get the hell out because, believe you me, you won't fit in one bit.
get famous quick, baby.
