A Sketch ^^

Oooh, this is a sketch I just completed. It's from a fanfiction written by an RP partner of mine. In it, L is portrayed as a shinigami.

She showed me her take on the character and it was very angular and appealing ... so I decided to draw it! Anyway, it turned out quite well being that I did it in paint on my laptop with NO MOUSE(no tablet either, just that little finger pad roley thing XD), so I thought I'd share. ^^



I might pretty him up in Photoshop later, but I rather like the messy look paint gives...

Oh, this is a nice idea! xD

The eye/face reminds me of Raziel from the Legacy of Kain games, for some reason. xDD

Actually, I think Raziel was a big part of her inspiration for his design ... and .... Venom(?), I think, from Spider Man (?). XD But you'd have to see him with the wraps off of his face to pick up on the latter. ^^

My god, Haute. This is bloody epic! I mean EPIC. And yes, I feel the Raziel influence, as well. I loved Legacy of Kain. But seriously, this is some mighty fine work, and the fact that it was done sans mouse / tablet / whatever just elevates it that much more.

Well, I must be off, as I told you earlier... but I'll talk to you this evening. Seeing this makes me simply unable to wait for some Badlandish sketches from you. *shot*
