Cossplay "Oh sh*t!!"

Warning: This is one of those rants that you laugh your ass off about...but only because it didn't happen to you. Alright.

So today my cosplay group and I decided to raid the mall Wammy Boys style. [How did you know this was DN related?!] Anyway, I went as Mello and K-chan, C-chan, and J-kun [names changed to protect the innocent] went as Near[K], Matt[J], and Misa[C].
And yes, we know Misa has NOTHING to do with Wammy house. Sue us.
So as we were walking around, enjoying the weird looks we were getting from strangers, K-chan wanted to drop into out local Borders to see is the next "Fruit Basket" book was out yet.
Mistake: You NEVER go to a manga section of a bookstore in cosplay.
Soon as we got in the isle, about six otakus raided us. FLASH MOB!! Noting but snapping pictures and girls hugging J-kun. [He's a very cute Matt. XD]
But one of them must have been a yoai fan cause someone shouted out "MAKE MELLO KISS ONE OF THEM!!"
..."Oh sh*t" moment anyone?
Now all the otakus are telling me to kiss either one of my best friends. [K-chan isn't bothered. She's reading her manga.] Finally, J-kun gets so fed up with their shouting...he kisses me.
And guess what.
It was my first.

J-KUN YOU BAKA!! You stole my first kiss!!

So... Moral of this mini-rant is: Never cosplay with a possible yoai pairing in your group. Or go to a bookstore in cosplay.

Let us top it all of... He said I taste like cherries.
He'll be tasting blood next time I see him!!!

Though on a day that I cosplay at the mall I'll probably be stupid and go to the manga section.... cuz I do everytime I'm at the mall xD
