With Aizen ruling as God of Hueco Mundo, order finally came to the world of the Hollows. But what is a takeover without a bit of bloodshed? Some, who questioned why they should trust a Shinigami, attempting to remove Aizen from their realm; their lives were abruptly cut short, not even managing to reach Aizen's form before being cut down by Ichimaru and Tousen. After that little show of authority, none dared to cross the man who showed no fear.
As soon as he arrived he began to create his army. The Hollow who were unable to become Arrancar on their own lined up to be transformed by the Hogyoku; his army was growing larger and larger every day. Eventually he had created ten powerful individuals that were able to usurp authority from the former leaders of the Hollow's Realm; he named them the Espada. Those who had been tossed from their seats were not eliminated, as they would still prove useful to him later; they were named the Privaron.
But with power comes a thirst for greater power. Few of the Espada actually like each other, putting on facades of comradery as they wait for the perfect time to dethrone their competition and rise through the ranks. Besides that, the Espada were not the only one's that needed to be worried about. The Privaron Espada yearn for their former positions and the Fraccion desire to have a taste of that power as well. Backstabbing, lies, murder; all commonplace in the world of false light. Alliances will be made, then they will be broken.
Meanwhile, Aizen sits back and waits for the most powerful of his creations to come forward, for he has something special planned for them.

A week after Aizen's betrayal, the drifters were finally sent back to the human realm and order managed to return to the Seireitei. With the Central 46 disposed of, the law was left in the hands of the Captains, most specifically the Commander-General Yamamoto-Genryusai; by his decree, Shinigami were to be on constant patrol in both Earth and the Rukongai. Any signs of Aizen's influence were to be reported immediately and eliminated.
Kurotsuchi Mayuri and his team of researchers were put to work, hacking their way to find any information on Aizen's whereabouts that they could. What was he planning? Who was helping him? How powerful could he become? This was there job. Shinigami were sent to Hueco Mundo, though they never returned. What happened to them is anyone's guess.
The rest of the Shinigami were on edge. Constantly being shifted in and out of the human world was hectic. Though there was "order" there was no peace for the Death Gods. Captains and Lieutenants were not allowed to exit the Seireitei for any reason whatsoever unless instructed by the Commander-General. New laws were placed to ensure that no other traitors would ever arise from the crop.
Unable to take action, Yamamoto-Genryusai is forced to sit back and wait; whatever Aizen is planning, he needs to be ready for it. He needs to be.

After a journey through the world of souls, Ichigo and his friends have finally returned home. They still have quite a bit of summer left, so they hope to enjoy it with the rest of their friends in peace. Maybe with the occasional Hollow fight here and there.
Little do they know about the trouble brewing in the other realms. Blissfully ignorant, they live life with few concerns other than where to travel for the day and where to stay the night. Ichigo should be the most concerned; there is a certain group who has decided to watch him for the time being.[/ul]

"No one starts on top of the world. Not you, not me, not even Gods. But the unbearable vacancy of the throne in the sky is over. From now on I will be sitting on it. Goodbye Shinigami. And goodbye, young drifter. For a human, you are really interesting."[/u][/size][/b]
Those were Aizen Sosuke's last words to the whole of Soul Society as he and his subordinates Ichimaru Gin and Tousen Kaname ascended into the sky. It was clear to all that the three had succeeded in their plot, while they of the Seireitei had failed; the Hogyoku had been obtained and, in the safety of Negacion's light, Aizen was free to flee. All they could do was send the drifters home and wait for the traitors' next move.
Now, you all know what happened in the Human Realm. Life went on as usual, Ichigo acting as a Shinigami-Substitute while trying to contain his Hollow powers. However, his problems have caught the attention of a certain group; though they have yet to reveal themselves.
But what is still a mystery is what happened during the time between Aizen and Company arriving in Hueco Mundo, taking control as quickly as they arrived, and the arrival of Ulquiorra Schiffer and Yammy in Karakura Town.
