She was alone in the large gym, standing by herself on a bright blue mat.
"Kyaa!"
Her stance went from offensive to defensive, her leg extending behind her and her hands at a wide V to her side. Her fists were clenched but relaxed and suddenly she was still, the only movement coming from her eyes as she contemplated the order of the poses. she held her hands perfectly still as she read the order in her head, crane, tiger, viper, dragon.
"stillness..."
as the process formed in her head she imagined a array of bright red strings under her feet, giving her holes to help guide her intothe second stance. " then STRIKE!" she gave a short cry and her front leg lifted, shifting behind her then bending back where the hole was imagined, her arms bent upwards, her palms facing two different directions in the viper stance.
" Stillness..."
the image of a crane appeared in her mind as she stood perfectly still. she felt a bit uneasy about this one, but if she were to do what must be done, she had to learn the many things this taught her; patience, hand eye coordination, and a little bit more grace than she had. she repeated the tedious process while remaining perfectly still in a position she had never thought she could do, " then STRIKE." this time, when her arms came up in tune with her leg, the overwhelming feeling of her weight shifting to one foot made it give way. Her perfect stance disassembled, she fell on her back onto the soft mat. she lied there for a second looking at the white roof of the gym, all she could do was give a frustrated groan.

Takai simply walked in and decided considering he needed to practice his hand to hand combat he would go to that area. He was simply trying out the gym and even though he brought his suit he didn't put any kind of weapons in it. Instead he had placed a nine millimeter in a toilet wrapped in a plastic bag. As takai entered the room he saw a girl already practicing a martial art, he already tossed it away when she fell on her rear as a useless martial art unless in the hands of a master.
Takai simply put up one of the wooden logs that spun around with posts sticking out of it. After taking his jacket, shoes, and gloves off he set up three more in a circle around him. He quickly struck all of them rapidly dodging all of the spinning posts with ease, he continued striking until he felt some sweat beading at his forehead. With that happening he pushed each of the posts rapidly with one hit each knocking them a few feet away.
He simply stood and slowed what fast breathing he had down to a regular pattern.

Kagumi did her deep breathing as she lied there, contemplating what she had to do to make it perfect down to its core. She kept letting her mind lead her to the word patience, but her thoughts were interrupted at the sound of someone entering the gym. though she was giving a look of calm, inside she gave an annoyed sigh, i guess that means I have to get up then she decided with a bit of hesitation, her arms swung around and she put her fingertips on the floor, she thought in this odd position, how does that thing go again?
Her legs lifted up and whiplashed, flipping her to her feet as she tried to maintain balance. She frowned and stood a bit wobbly but up nonetheless. she just had to find out what to do next. She took a look at the man who walked in and his ease with the hand to hand combat, how simple he made it look, but she was just starting, he probably did that for god knows how long without fail. she switched her look to the giant wooden training dummy in the corner. maybe she could train with that? it could help her a bit maybe. She walked over to the dummy and tugged it back with great effort to her original space and she stood in defensive, thinking about what to do next. " Stillness."
she looked at her maintargets, hands feet and head, then made hr descision, " then STRIKE!" she turned into a roundhouse kick, doing it better than she had expected but the minute her foot touched the ground she tried stopping midway, one foot on the ground and one in midkick, as if she had to stop, but it hit the dummy's neck. a grunt of frustration came out quietly as she hoped it didnt break., but a crack flew through the neck and broke of the training dummy's head, making it break off and fall to its death. she put her foot down and gave another frustrated groan, " DAMMIT!"

Takai was leaning agaisnt a propped up training dummy watching the girl. It was almost funny if she actually tried to use that in life. He decided to voice his opinion."That technique is absolutly useless, it has no defence, sets you up so that you can be off balanced easily, and your opponent has to be in range and you have no way to get them in range. It also relies on the fact that you have one opponent in front of you that is a complete fool."
His tone and voice were calm and in a anglo-saxon accent. Which made him sound instead of boring, lethal. You could tell that even relaxed he was on guard, you could also tell that no humor reached his face.

She put her hans on her knees and went through the heavy breathing, trying to calm herself down, but the voice of the man from the other side of the room made her ears pump. She turned her head to look at him, then stood up straight, readjusting the large braid she made out of her hair, " oh ha ha." when she was tired, she wasnt one to joke, " so do you have any better ideas then?" she knew he probably did, but it didnt kill her to ask, amazingly she wasnt scared to death to talk to this guy, but like she said, she was to tired to care about who he was, only what she brought herself in here for.

Takai didn't grin, nor did he like being messed with by a kid that had some arrogant part talking to him. He replied simply in the same tone and accent, however he threw boredom in the mix."A few thousand ideas, you could focus on keeping both feet on the ground and kicking about stomach high at any point. That way you don't have to worry about balance, and you have full strength of the kick, and you can move freely, and you can use either leg to kick. But thats only a basic concept of a technique you'll be able to use."
He knew inwardly that last part would probably set her off as in she could be capable of doing anything beyond basic.

Maybe it was the fact that she was tired that was making her so short, but nothing seemed to pass by her. she listened with intent at his words. when he gave her the information she needed, she only nodded in return to his crude advice. He was not pleased with her answer, and the thought of getting her a$$ kicked by a guy like that, big and burly probably three or four times her size ( she was not petite by the way) it seemed oddly like good excercise she had no beefs with this guy so instead of anger, she smiled.
" Yeah I just started this Sir," she said with a calming breath that finally got her steady and at ease, " So anything you have to help, I'd be more than happy to see." she put a hand on her back and it gave a loud crack. what better way to learn then by someone who actually knew what they were doing.

Takai didn't smile, he simply asked."No bar or how many bars?" She should at least know what that means, considering she just started anyway. However I am going to end this little 'spar' as fast as possible. I think one or two moves ought to do it.
He knew before she even made her answer what he was going to do, he knew she would probably not say no bar. As she already knew he was stronger, faster, tougher, and far more skilled than her. He was already prepared by simply standing where he was.

it was plain to see that this man found her annoying, but then again, who didnt? even her mentor found her troublesome, but maybe it was because she was young, meaning she was blunt and sometimes rude, no doubt about it. but it surprised her that in this state she treated him that respectfully, oh well.
he asked her what kind of bars she wanted. she sighed, of course a no bars fight would be stupid, he looked like he had the capability of killing her before she could even blink twice, but how did she plan on learning if all he wanted was for her to go away? " lets put it this way," she put a strand of wayward hair behind her ear, " I would rather you not kill me sir, but I also want to see what you can do, hand to hand thats all i ask."

Takai nodded and simply walked right in front of her simply standing and waiting, he was not going to attack first. That was the point of what she was going to do with her style of fighting, however personality-wise she would lose patience and attack him regardless of the danger.
Takai kept his head and eyes looking upward, he seemed to not be paying her any attention at all. However in reality he was waiting for a sound of movement so he would jerk his head back down.

she looked a bit frustrated with him when he went into defensive, she was one to do that, but if she was going to get anything done, she wasnt exactly going to get around to it just standing there. She was in her stillness stage trying to figure out what a good first move would be that wouldnt completely immobilize her on the very first move. though she was just a kid, she didnt like having to give up right then and there before she had a chance to learn anything at all. He looked up waiting patiently while she figured out what to do, no pain no gain i guess
Without a second thought, she lifted her fist and struck in an upward puch, not exactly a fun first move, but at least she moved nonetheless, at least the learning part was now beginning. a small woosh erupted the air.

Murazar was simply almost into a humor stage, she tried a uppercut on him. He simply sidestepped put his left palm against her back and in the opposite motion pushed her elbow in the other direction. The result was that she literally did a flip backwards. It was a simple yet effective move, he decided he would rather play right now than take her seriously.

Kagumi knew deep down in her heart that the first move wouldn't work, and his easy sidestep instantly confirmed that, but at least it got the fight going so that she could see for herself what she needed to take the time to learn for herself. What she didn't prepare herself for was the sudden pressure in her back and the backflip that resulted complimented with a surprised yelp. If he was just playing, he must be having a ball. To her shock though, she landed on her feet behind him, so with a bit of thought she had while she was in midair, she planted a foot and thrust the other foot back to the back of his kneecap.

Murazar turned sideways easily and simply grabbed her foot, kicking was never a good idea. Especially when your foot was grabbed, since your arms were shorter than your legs you couldn't punch the other person and you couldn't kick them or else risk falling. He simply used one hand and flipped her again this time not any distance and it only flipped half her body so she would land stomach down.
He back off a few feet simply keeping the same posture and again took a defensive stance, she wouldn't win and unless she asked him to be her teacher or something similar he would simply keep using either the same moves or the easiest ones.

Now she wasn't excpecting that at all, she didn't even realize he had seen her at all, but before she could even flinch he had grabbed her foot and turned it, next thing she knew she was on the ground face down more internally frustrated than anything. She had forgotten what she had begun to fight him for, and then when she did she realized most of the moves were so subtle and smooth she didn't notice them at all.
When he backed away she moved to her feet, " could you please just teach me so I could at least see what you are doing?" She asked
