Kagumi had worked hard, she needed this to keep her sane and alive, nothing was better for her than it's sweet taste...
chocolate...
For a large majority of the night, Kagumi spent her time memorizing the large stack of documents that was given to her. Though it would have only taken her an hour to really look at them, she spent another two hours just to make sure, and she never felt the strain until the third hour. She sat there with her eyes scanning the pages left to write like a typewriter, the stress of it all didnt get to her, and it wasnt that she was tired, but the more she read the queasier she got, that gut feeling stayed with her the entire night...
So now she needed food, she hadnt had a bar of chocolate in quite a while, so she felt it was a worthy treat. the cholate shop was towering over her with a large arch that hung accusingly over her like a threshold, she shook it off and walked into the amazing smell of gourmet chocolates. A smile on her face, she sat down at one of the tables and waited for her waitress to order

As 21 walked around town, he walked by a chocolate shop. Normally he would've walked on by, but as he was walking by the window he thought he saw a familiar face. His footsteps become smaller and smaller until he wasn't moving at all. It would've been a strange sight to see. A man looking in a window with a dazed look in his eyes. He shook his head and began to move again. As he walked past the door he was deciding whether he should go in or not. 21 walked around the corner only to find himself walking back so he could go into the chocolate shop. He let out a sigh as he walked in.
As he walked around trying to find a place to sit she caught his eye. He knew he had seen her before...Buds thats who she was. With that name came many memories. For a moment he just stood there staring at her, but then decided he would go talk to her. He was walking over to her table when a thought came into his mind. What happens if she had forgotten about him? His steps became more hesitantly, but he made himself keep going. He had been waiting for this day when he would finally see her again. When he finally got to her table he asked
"May I sit with you Buds?" the words were spoken softly but he made sure he was loud enough so she could hear him. He looked at her with a gentle look but then looked at the table. 21 just waited like that for an answer; staring at the table and messing with his hands.

Kagumi had been waiting patiently for the waitress to come and her mind drifted to the thoughts of delicious chocolate. There were so many to choose from, dark chocolate, white chocolte, truffles, caramel. the choiced made her mouth water, but she knew she had only a small budget to work from, So if she wanted something really good, she had to get only 1 or 2, but if she had to, she would distribute evenly and by many cheap ones, it just depended on what she craved and how muchshe craved it.
She was lifted from her thoughts at the sound of a soft voice....a familiar voice that made her heart stop, she looked up from table and into the wonderful yellow eyes of, " 21," she forced out in surprise, he looked just as sheepish as she did, but now she was bright pink, " sure....go ahead," she said sheepishly, softly.

A smile spread across his lips as he sat down at the table. 21 tried to look her in the eyes but ended up look at the table again. He let out a little sigh of relief. She hadn't forgotten him. He forced himself to look at her in the eyes and so he did. Just as beautiful as he remember her. 21 blushed a little as he thought about there last encounter but shock his head. He looked at the menu then at her again before saying
"So you're here for some chocolate? I just happened to see you here and walked in. Not really in the mood for chocolate but I think I'll have something small anyways. What are you going to have?" 21 smiled even bigger as he spoke. He was so happy to see her again. Though he was a bit shocked to see her, very happy to see her as well.

somehow, she mamaged to stay in the flushed state and she couldnt shake it. He kept trying to look her in the eyes, but the two of them had been looking nervously at the table in an attempt to keep their cool in the restaraunt, She picked up the menu and noticed her eyes on him, but then he tried to help her cver it up by his gaze switching to the menu, " Well.....I might have a bunch of white chocolate, i could get a bunch and we could share it," she added quickly.
she had been surprised to see him, in between her working for mister kin and her stay at whammy house, she thought she might never see him again, but now suddenly there he was out of the blue, and Kagumi had never felt better.

He closed the menu with a sigh and put it back down on the table. 21 looked at her with his piercing yellow eyes and he couldn't help but smile. As Buds talked 21 stared at her as if he were listening but really he wasn't. He was still surprised that he was here with her and not walking down an ally alone. When he heard the word white chocolate though he came back to reality.
"Sounds delicious to me, but I'll pay ok? I wouldn't want you wasting your money." He was so happy he had to keep in a laugh. 21 couldn't be any happier and it was all thanks to Buds. She made him feel whole again.

(youre using the avi I made you!  ) It didnt take a genius to see that 21 was trapped in his own little world as she looked through the menu in search for anything she could find. she was very proud of the fact that beyond all things it is her sweet tooth that will never change. But the sound of chocolate, as it should, snapped him out of the trance and pulled her out of her own, She leaned back in the chair and felt herself soothed by his prescence, " you dont have to do that." she said bashfully |

21 gave her a quick smile. " I know I dont have to; I want to" He couldn't help but let out a chuckle with the way she was being so bashful. Though he wasn't one to talk since he was also acting quite bashful himself.
"So what have you been up to lately?" His fingers were tapping the table in a beat he had heard the night before. One of his favorites actually. When he looked out the window he sighed, not sure if he should be happy or not. It looked like it was about to rain. That made him smile. He didn't really like the rain, so if it did rain that would give him an excuse to stay with Buds longer. Before he got to deep into his thoughts he looked back at Buds waiting to hear what she had to say.

She blushed, if he really wanted to it was a nice gesture seeing as she was short on money lately until mr.kin paid her anything, until then, she was on a budget. " thak you." she said quietly.
" I've been just wandering around that's all, lots of reading and thinking thats all." she really didnt know how much she could say since Zet had told her to keep a low profile until Kin felt it was time for them rise up from the underground and show the world what a real threat was, how could she tell someone she loved alot that she was working to do such a thing?

"You're welcome" He smiled at her, his fingers still tapping on the table he tilted his head a bit. He had a feeling that wasn't all she had been doing but he would let it slide. "I see." 21 gave her fake smile before looking out the window again. Now he was waiting for it to rain.
"I've been doing pretty much what you've been doing. Except I'm working for a man called Kin..." 21 winced as he realized he had let his secret slip. How could he have just blurted that out? He could be rather stupid sometimes and at the moment he was being extremely stupid. 21 let out a rather big sigh as he looked at Buds again. He wasn't sure how she was going to react to this, but the thoughts in his head made his heart skip a beat.

Though he tried to smile, Kagumi had a big feeling in her gut that in his mind he knew there was more she was doing than what she was letting on, her face went slightly pale and she bit her lip. would it be a problem? she knew if she told, who knows the risks, she didnt want it to become disasterous.
but when he told her the truth about what he was doing the rest of the color drained from her face, " Mr. Kin?" she asked softly, " what does he have you working as?" she knew mr. kin would get more people from whammy house to do his work for him, but she had a feeling inside that this might happen so why an i still feel like something horrible is going on? she began fumbling with her fingers and her gaze fell back on to the table.

Tenshi walked by the front door to the chocolate shop. He was smoking his favorite brand of cigarettes and his long black hair was tied back in a pony tail, showing off the red streak down the center. He saw two people in through the window acting like suspiciously and he could not fight the urge to investigate as was his habit whenever someone was acting like they had something to hide. He put his cigarette out on the bottom of his show and replaced it in the pack so finish later before entering the shop and sitting in a spot with his back to the girl.
As he sat down he heard the man say something about a man named Mr. Kin and wondered who that could be. Then when the girl asked him what mister kin could have him doing Tenshi's suspicions grew. who is this Mr. Kin and why do these to seem to be trying to keep a secret about him? Tenshi thought to himself. He then decided to do a little test to see if they were honest people so he took out his wallet and removed his I.D. card. He then stood up to leave and purposely dropped his wallet just as he passed the table the two people were sitting at, making it look like an accident and continued to walk out the door.

as she waited patiently for his answer, she feared what it might be. He could be an assasin, like some of the other people she had heard about skimming through the excess files Zet tried so hard to give her. He could just e giving him information, in which was directed en-route to her for her benefit. though she was a little questioning, she was mentally telling herself to calm down, no matter how bad the job was, she would be with him, she just needed to be extra careful, the last thing she needed was someone she cared about dead.
Movement caught her eye and to avoid the tension she looked at it. Someone had dropped their wallet, and she figured he didnt feel it, because he walked right out of the door. Her head snapped to 21, " hold that thought love." she gave him a quick kiss on the forehead before scooping up the wallet and walking out into the rain, " excuse me Mister," she called out in a clear voice.

Tenshi turned to the two people giving him back the wallet. "Thank you." He said as he took the wallet and pretended to make sure it was his. He then opened it, pretending to check the money and other contents were still there. When he noticed they had left everything as it was he put the wallet in his back pocket and said, "Thanks again...but did you take my I.D. ?" thinking that it may be useful for them to think he was a little suspicious of them. He always thought that people who were completely trusting were the people to look out for and didn't want to give that impression.

21 nodded his head which was his way of saying "you're welcome". He watched the man as he looked through the wallet. Something wasn't right about him...21 looked at the sky quickly checking to see if the condition had gotten any worse. The sky was a lot darker now but still not a sign of rain. He looked back down at the man as he put the wallet in his back pocket. When he asked if they had taken his I.D. 21 looked surprised. He wondered what the man was up to. "No sir. We didn't steal your I.D. Maybe it fell out when you dropped your wallet. Would you like me to go check?" Something about this man made 21 uneasy, yet he couldn't put his finger on it. He reminded him of someone very familiar, bit 21 couldn't name who it was this man reminded him of. This left 21 tapping his left foot uneasily, while breathing in a rather odd pattern.
