Oana hd been told by Mister Takai about this party, about this Kin person he thought would be of such an interest to her. She had been wandering around the town repeatedly, looking for something to do until she had to return back to the hotel with mister takai just for the hell of it. It wasnt until she had wandered back to the school that she had remembered Takai mentioning that party to her, and that had made her think. Was he really all he made him out to be. " He would probably just do heart attacks like the ignorant human he is." she grumbled to herself, if thats all he fet he was capable of doing, he would not live long in her book.
She had flown hastily to Aoyama, her...eyes ( i think) scanning the buildings below for any sign of life. There were many shops to choose from, Grocers to the left, sweets to the right, but to her dissapointment no Mister Takai. She dived from her position and flew 6 feet off of the ground, scanning every store available and every hotel.
Thats when she spotted him.
Oana squealed with delight, proud of her expert finding skills, and she turned, letting the wind push her wings to a stop, then she gingerly flew to the source of the party. she peeked in, looking in awe at the influx of stuff and extravegence that occupied the place, " fancy." she mumbled, she pulled out of the party and looked up to see Mister takai on the balcony and she laughed, flying up to meet him and meeting him eye to eye, " Hey Mister Takai!" she exclaimed with a giggle, " Is it that borig you have to be up here?"

Takai facially gave no indication of seeing oana, instead he turned towards her and kept his back to everyone else and said."No, the guys already got a kid who only gives a number instead of a name. Plus I think i've attracted his attention, i've got two favors and one you'l enjoy. If we keep talking tell me if anyone is approaching me so it doesn't look like i'm talking to the air. Also if Kin marr doesn't show any indication of being interested in me and leaves the area inside there.
Then I need you to get creative with some killing, make a few of the guards take him hostage but wont kill him and get the other guards to die silently and make sure the guards shots don't hit me if they shoot at me. Thats a last resort though oana, and it would ensure that the guy is in the bag. Plus when you do give him the book, make sure you tell him that he has to get creative kills or else you'll kill him." He stopped and drank some more of his coniac slowely waiting for oana's reaction.

All the time that Takai was giving her orders, her gaze was set behind him and she spent the time avidly twirling her dark wavy hair as if he was boring her to death, but she was listening intently (contrary to popular belief. In the shinigami relm Oana was constantly scolded for not paying attention when someone talked to her) This plan didnt sound too bad, though she groaned when he told her to wait. if he went through with it without her involvement, then it just wouldnt be a party. When he gave the second favor Oana shook her head, " No can do, he would have to learn on his own, you can tell him but i wont. either than that you got it!" she said with a salute

Takai sighed and merely said to her same as before giving a small curve of his lips in a smile at her salute. He didn't mind if it wasn't a correct salute since he wasn't in the military anymore. "He wouldn't believe me no matter how I told him, nor would he or anyone else do it unless you hinted it to him at least. Maybe you could just threaten that if you got bored to long you would just kill him, and then be bored when he does only heart attacks."
He was trying to make this work as much as possible and was already going to start on something interesting for her. He started again,"If it all goes down well like I want, and you don't kill anyone interestingly then i'll give you a few ideas on the way back to the hotel. Alright?" He was now trying to make their friendly cooperation work since he would be with her for awhile.

As 21 made his proposal of sorts to Kin, he looked him over again. It seemed that this kid was quite serious about getting a job under himself. Of course, he couldn't just hire him like that. He had no idea as to what extent of skills that 21 possessed and as to what his purpose could be in his organization. At least he could answer most of the questions in one little test. As he finished the last tidbits of threads in his mind he turned towards 21. As he did this he noticed that a rather shady-looking man was trying to get his attention discretely. He supposed he would have to get to that in a few seconds or at least as long as it took to get the boy on his way.
"Well, as I am sure you know," Kin Marr replied," I cannot just hire someone without seeing their talents. To make sure that you are right for my line of work I have a small test prepared for you. I would like you to assassinate each guard in the main ballroom without alerting any of the other guards or members of this party. I would also like you to be finished within about ten minutes. Once you have completed your task just meet me on the balcony. And remember not to get too much blood on the carpet or I'll have to clean it before I return this place."
As he finished briefing 21 he quickly got up and made his way to the balcony. He found it somewhat strange to see that this man had his back turned to the ballroom, but he supposed everyone had quirks one way or another. Maybe he just liked to gaze at the stars. As lovely as that sounded he hoped that this man could get down to business quickly and efficiently so they could be finished before 21 came back. He had no doubt that he would of course because there would have been a very slim chance that he could have snuck in without detection in the first place without some kind of talent. Now it was time to see what this individual wanted.

When he finished, Oana stuck out her bottom lip, " That just sucks mister takai," suddenly she returned to the sly grin, " but hopefully if he is as noncompliant as i think he might be, this just might be a fun night yet...." then almost as casually as she would yawn, she turned upside down, a nail between her ruby red lips and her legs folded indian style on practically nothing. she had her notebook at the ready for this one, especially if she has to create a scenario for about 8 to 10 guards, she really had to do some speed writing to complete this task ( if this Mr. Kin gave her a chance to do it, if not she would maybe kill 1 or 2 guards.)
Speaking of...
Oana looked down ( or up in takai's perspective) to see a figure standing behind him at the doors of the balcony. with this,Oana tipped her head and made a small questioning noise like a newborn pup. She pointed to the person with a long bony finger, " Is that the mister Kin that you spoke of?"

Takai decided he would just surprise kin for the hell of it, afterall he needed to impress him to top it off the man would probably pop a test of some sort like all gangs or mafia's do. He merely said,"Well since no one is within regular earshot or pay attention to us why don't you take a seat Mister Marr, also I loved that trick back at italy awhile back. It was very much a explosive act, however lets get right down to buisness." At this he turned around showing himself and his no nonsense expression.
"I would like to be hired on as whatever you need, I am very good at gathering intelligence as you already know, I'm one of the best assassins as I am Mr. Kane, I am also a mercenary which is the reason for the hiring on. However Mister Marr, i'm afraid that if you dump me in some low class department or division you have would dissapoint me very much with a man of your talent, just to add on im not being flattering i'm telling the truth."
He all the while kept his face in the same way and changed his usual no accent to a anglo-saxon one and kept it mechanical. He needed to show that he seriously mean't buisness with someone equally serious.

21 listened to Kin speak while he took the last sip of his margarita. Killing about 10 maybe 11 men in 10 minutes would be a easy task. The only hard part about it would be that he wasn't aloud to get too much blood on the carpet. While he thought of ways to kill someone without spilling to much blood he got up and walked to the window. One star caught his attention from all the others, it was a very bright star. Brightest he had seen in awhile actually. As he looked at it 21 came up with a plan. It had it's flaws but it was a simple, good plan. Now it was time to test it out.
21 walked up to the first guard quickly, yet quietly. He grabbed out a knife and made a small puncture around the area of the heart. Before the guard had any time to react he was dead, but 21 didn't let him fall to the ground. That would cause attention to be put on them. Instead he caught the guard by looking like he was patting him on the shoulder, he was pretending like he had known the man for years. He was smiling and laughing pretending to tell a joke. He laid the man up against the wall so it looked somewhat like he was standing. Now he had 9 more to go.
As he put the puncture in his last victim, he did his routine. He looked around to check that all the dead guards were still standing and they were. The plan had actually worked, which was good for 21. he had taken a 50-50 chance with the plan he had just did, but it worked and that's all that mattered. As he cleared his head, 21 heading to the balcony. When he got close enough to the balcony, 21 saw Kin with some man. He wasn't sure if he was going to ruin there conversation, but he was told to go to the balcony after his task was done and that's what he was going to do. He only had a minute left before his time was up, so he walked quickly over to the balcony. Right before his time ran out he stepped onto the balcony. He let out a sigh of relief but he knew he couldn't relax for long. 21 knew he had to be on the top of his game if he wanted to impress Kin.

Oana had eyed mister takai and mister kin with the eyes of a hawk honing in on its prey. she had her deathnote poised and at the ready for the exact same moment he says that he dosent believe him, then she can make it happen all at once and raise hell like she was always meant to. She had looked at mister takai in curiosity, but then looked to the balcony door, where oddly enough, a boy stood at the doorway looking exhausted. Oana gave a curious noise and looked at the inside of the party
one of the guards was dead!
Oana had flipped back over suddenly, her wings flapping restlessly to get inside. She checked the fist guards pulse, yep he was gone. she floated to the center of the room and looked around worriedly and the guards, all 10 guards of the upper floor, all of them dead. Not one left for her to kill or even manipulate and scare for a split second. her fist clenched, her knuckles turning whiter under the pressure of her nails. she bared her teeth and then all at once gave an almighty yell of frustration and fury that could wake the dead, good thing no one but takai could hear her. but they were all dead! wht was she going to do now?!?!
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

It seemed that this man also had the intention of working for him. He didn't know whether he should be flattered or frightened. But, at least he could take they had no idea about each other for each had met him in completely different fashions. The only question was if he could handle taking two such...independent individuals at the same time. At least there was not much doubt that either could do their job as long as 21 came back in one piece. Thankfully, he hadn't heard any screaming or the like yet. That was a good sign.
"I'm glad that you have taken interest in such a humble organization that I partake in. It's Mr. Takai, correct? I hope that you have not set your hopes too high though sir, for I am afraid to say that our organization cannot make any large moves currently because of our position. Not to mention, I believe that this would be a good time to lie low as a whole for this Kira business could seriously damage any acts we try to do. I am not saying that we have no use for you. Far from it actually. I suppose it would be best to phrase it as we would have to use some of your less interesting talents. But, I do believe I have a good idea for your skills. I believe assigning a task squad would be in our best interests currently. But, unless I am mistaken you wanted to tell me something larger then just trying to get hired. Then again, this may not be the best time for it seems that one of your new force members,if you join up of course, is coming to report. Unless you don't care of course."
When he finished speaking to Takai he turned to his side to give him a good view of both members in the future conversation. For, it seemed that 21 was definitely going to follow orders directly by coming straight to the balcony. Hopefully Takai would see past 21's young looks to see skills that he could harness for himself. At least this way there would be more motivation for Takai to partake in this job while thinking he was gaining the most from the situation. If not, Kin was sure a small fortune would sing to his tune quite well.

21 around and to his utter resentment there was another person with Kin. His eyes blazed like a yellow fire but only for a minute. 21 found no use in wasting energy by being angry. Still he let out a sigh of frustration before saying
"I did as you ordered Kin." the words slipped out of his mouth like he had rehearsed them, yet his eyes were still glowing bright with anger as he looked at the other man on the balcony.
He shook his head ever so slightly. I need to be thinking about the bigger picture, not the small one as 21 thought to himself he tilted his head up slightly so he could see the stars better. They were shining bright and that would be used to his advantage. A small smirk came across his face as he looked back at Kin, then the man on the balcony with them. He had a feeling they were talking before he came, but he didn't care. He knew exactly what he was going to do; exactly how he was going to do it.

Takai answered in the same bored voice and tone as before in anglo saxon accent."Mr marr I don't play well with others for one, and two if you find out who kira is let me take care of it. Then we can work onto a much better buisness level without a significant threat. Also my alias takai is only in asia public areas. Otherwise I am Mr Kane, sir."
With that said he had a excellant reason for chosing the balcony, if that kid attacked he would just throw him over the ledge. He doubted that anyone would survive that fall without breaking something.

Kin could definitely sense that 21 hated Takai for some reason or another. He knew that a wise person would try to keep both of such talented workers, but keep them separated to cause no unneeded disruptions. Then again though, no one had ever said that Kin was especially wise. A genius no doubt, but far from wise in most cases. Anyways, he always loved to get in some entertainment whenever he could so he wouldn't have to be completely bored out of his mind. And this was a rare occasion that would provide great entertainment while serving good purposes.
"Do not worry Takai, for I will believe that this situation is very public indeed, if we ever found the identity of this Kira then we will be sure to use the best people and measures in our inventory. Now I don't really expect you to get along or like each other in any way or form, but that should not affect the performance of two professional individuals. Plus, if you really want to you can take this partner on as your apprentice," Kin said finally acknowledging 21's presence and making the motions for him to come into the conversation.
As the situation began to unfold, Kin sat back in his seat as if watching a movie or some other form of spectacle. He hoped that some kind of entertainment would unfold here, but he would not be too disappointed if nothing occurred. For, the longer that they kept their places, the more their anger would boil inside of them. That would lead to quite a confrontation one day. He could only hope that he would be there to see it.

21 was quite surprised by what Kin said. Working with this person...Takai. This would be rather strange. He didn't really have the best feeling about this man but if he wanted to work with Kin he would do it. Now becoming his apprentice was another thing. 21 didn't really like the idea of being this mans apprentice. He had an idea that they wouldn't get along that well. Therefore becoming his apprentice wouldn't work so great. Unless somehow they learned to get along, or they actually got along it would be impossible. Well nothing is really impossible at least 21 didn't think so. 21 gave out a little sigh. He was going to have to give his a try.
"His apprentice Mr. Kin? I'm not sure if that the best. Would he and I get along? I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I mean I could work with him, but being his apprentice is another thing. Anyways, I don't think he'd want to take me on as a apprentice. Am I right Takai?" 21 replied just loud enough to be heard.

Takai nodded his head saying in his usual cold calm voice."Quite correct, I never take on apprentices unless they already have extensive military training. In other words I never will, besides I think it would be best for me and the kid to not work together unless he can provide surveillance and intelligence while I do field work."
