Luke was walking home from his first day after transferring to a new office, he did know that he was recommended for the job; but it wasn't what he thought it would be. He sighed and sat down on a bench, how can i even expect to be a bit of help he thought, they had L himself. he looked at the paper he still had in his pocket that had the place he had to show up.
He looked up, the sun was starting to set now, but he didn't feel like walking home right now. He sighed and forced himself to stand up and put the paper back in his pocket; there was nothing that was a secret on the paper itself, he was told all that in person, and told not to keep notes. He looked up and began to walk back again.

Serena walked happily along the trail in the park. She loved to be outside and soaked up the sunshine. Even tho she was twenty-one, she pranced and danced around like a young child. She was wearing a pale pink and white lace dress. There were ribbons and frills all over it. She had her favorite pink ballerina shoes on. She knew her look was unusual but she like that. As she made her way down the path, she recognized a face walking not to far from herself. The question was where did you know him from. She thought about it for a second and then realized he was the new member of the KSIU. She had looked at his file that L had lift out.
Serena decided to go introduce herself. She was a very bold girl, and rarely held herself back. "Hi," she said cheerily now standing beside the guy "Luke right?" she wanted him to wonder for a moment how she knew him. That was another thing about Serena, she was notorious for mind games. She pushed her long white blonde hair over her shoulders. She smiled at him seductively "I'm Serena, I’m going to be one of your new 'co-workers'," she said making quotations in the air. Serena didn't really see the KSIU as a job. It was more like a good way to make connection and learn. Besides modeling was her job, and, being the kind of girl she was, she would never admit having more than one job. In her mind it made her seem poor, which she wasn't by any means

Luke looked over, she had his name, so she must have been a member of the task force, well that or Kira; and he didn't think she looked like a person who could sleep at night being a mass murderer. Maybe he was over-thinking it, but it would be smart to stick to a first name because it wasn't a lie. He was about to shake his head at himself; something like that went through his head in a matter of second after meeting someone now. maybe he was losing his grip already, or maybe it had to do with how everyone else was acting about the case so fair.
He realized he hasn't said anything for the last minute or two, and all she did was say hi, and tell him they would be working together. "Hi, and yes i am Luke. I'm looking forward to working with you Mrs.?" he left off with a question as he held out his hand and waited for a handshake with the answer.

"You can call me Rini," she grabbing his hand "Or S," she said crinkling her nose a bit. She really hated the one letter name that L had inverted and all the Whammy's house children wear expected to follow. In fact Serena was the only one who went by her really name. She didn't care to hide, at least not when she was really supported Kira. It would only be a matter of time before he knew that. However, the rest of the world would stay in the dark about that until the time was right, until Kira ruled the world, which she knew in time he would. She giggled a bit and let go of Luka's hand
"Well it is certainly nice to meet you," as usual her voice was laced with flirtion. She had been that way as long as she could remember. However, being a girly girl and growing up around a ton of boys will do that you. In fact she had flirted with Near and Mello back at Whammy's. It wasn't that she had want to be with them, but it was just her natural. She smiled at Luke ever as sweetly "So in the spirt of getting to know each other would you like to take a walk around the park with me?" she asked.

Luke nodded. "well its nice to meet you Rini" he said, he guessed that Rini was a fake name. He shrugged and looked around. "yea, sure i could go for a walk." He said looking at her, "if by chance can i guess with out being suspicious that Rini's a fake name; and if so your real name would start with an S?" He wondered, it seemed to make sense, if she told him a full name it wouldn't be real, and the hidden name would be the one to look at more.
He shook his head. "you know what, never mind me, i may be trying too hard." He laughed a bit, but it was more of a nervous laugh then anything else. "anyway wheres the walking path for the park?" he started up, but he was really just following what one of the other workers said.
