[Youkai Chi]

There was a faint rustling sound as the leaves and tree shook, before a shriek, Chi falling to the ground from the tree, landing on her feet, the the shooting pain in her ankle made her fall over onto her side, rolling around for a moment, laughter over riding the pain in her leg.
She finally stopped and looked up to the soft blue sky, the occasional fluff of a cloud hovering over her, sunlight glistening softly in her hazel eyes.
She sighed and lay there, her eyes now closed, her mind wandering, most of her thoughts coming out into words. She had, sadly, been known for saying her thoughts, and it often either got her in trouble or made people hate her, or when in school, it often did both.
"It's too warm," she said aloud, "Warm... I wonder what everyone is doing on vacation... I want to go to Australia to go visit Terris. Terris," she said with a smile, "I love you to death, big brother. Death... I wonder if Kira would punish you for taking those animals from the factory farms and setting them free on the farm... I dunno... It is stealing, but its for your belief though..."
She continued to talk on and on for hours "I hate geography though, so that's part of why I didn't make such a good grade... I'm hungry." she said, sitting up and opening her eyes as she said the last part.
She pushed herself up, her eyes now adjusting to the lights lining the paths, the sky dark.
"I do this too often," she sighed, sitting on a nearby bench.

[Rem]

Rem been watching around the park, again. Hearing a shriek the Shinigami turned around and started to wards the noise before hearing a girl speak a bit to loud for Rem's liking. Rolling her eyes as she heard the girl talk non-stop, she was starting to become worse then Misa. Misa.... Rem knew she had to get back to her soon, as she was meant to always be around her, so the girl had to be close by most likely, then again Park wasn't far from where they where. Just following her around all day, watching people with Apples, she was one of the few shinigamis that didn't like Apples the most, unlike Ryuk would would go nuts without them. Knowing him so well, Rem was watching out on Light, ready to kill him if he put her Misa into danger. Rem would never go back down on her word.

Pulling out her note book she pulled some paper out of it and then went closer to the girl, only then did Rem drop the piece of paper, which came from her Death Note and she stayed on the ground and just waited. Though she shook her head. Why did she bother to do this at all? Some shinigamis did it so... Rem though why not let her have a go right?

Chi has started to close her eyes until the sight of a piece of paper fall from no specific sourse.
"What the hell?" she asked, seeing it hit the ground. She only stared at it in silence, wondering what if was from and where it fell from. She looked around at the trees to see if anyone was hiding in the leaves and could have thrown it.
"Hello?" she called out, tho there was no responce. She slowly pushed herself and walked over, picking up the paper and looking it over, flippign it over to see if it had anything written on it, but it was only simple, lined paper.
Where did this come from? she asked herself. She turned and started back toward the bench but froze, her eyes widening. She screamed when she saw Rem, the sight of a shinigami scaring her half to death. She stumbled back falling onto her butt her hands oulling her away.
"What the hell are you?!" she exclaimed staring up in horror.

[Rem]

Rem watched the girl, only yo give out a laugh and she titled ehr ehad to the side. The shinigami moved closer to her as she fell down and she laughed softly once more and she put her hand out and pointed at the girl "I am the shinigami, Rem. That paper your holding if from my Death Note." she sad, before remembering about what she said about Kira killing people stealing animals and she shook her ehad slowly about it though Rem looked at her. "Kira will not kill people for stealing animals, unless new one does. First Kira only kills people who done bad stuff" Rem said nodding her head, and pulled her arm back away from the girl.

Her eyes remained wide as Rem talked. "Sh-shi-shinigami?" she asked, death the only thing coming to her mind, obviously due to the meaning of the word.
"Oh god," she said, throwing the paper, "You are gonna kill me or something arn't you? I should have never picked that stupid thing up," she said, standing up, before freezing.
"Wait..." she said, "Deathnote...? does that mean I am going to die? What is it?" she asked.
She finally calmed her shocked and scared state, her eyes not nearly as wide, her heartbeat slowly going back to it's normal pace.
She refused to die like this...
She could only die at her own hand...
She refused to leave this earth any other way...
