Takai had left a cell phone and instructions to the waitress to wait for the person who contacted him. Grey....At least im safe, your not if you intentions are wrong. He was hidden from site in a building a few away from the resturant. An envelope was on the table including a sheet of paper and pen with one of his prepaid cell phones that he had just gotten today only for this use.
He was looking down the scope of his M40 bolt action sniper rifle at the window where he would be seated. The second he entered the place he would be directed by the waitress to the table and be left alone after getting him a drink. He was ready to activate the button on his other prepaid phone he had which would call the one at the table instantly. Where is he

The night sky's bright moon radiated white light off of Grey's pale coat. His steel blue eyes did not pay attention to his left and right, instead tunnel vision was his sight. Grey was in thought. The passing drunks, couples, and other miscellaneous people paid little attention to him and he did the same, yet he was aware of them. Yet, he chose not to pay attention to them. His own thoughts were the focus of his stroll.
Kane. The hitman. He would be legendary if the Mafia wasn't so secretive now that Kira was around. Kira was preventing the exchange of information and making crimes that much harder to execute. The Mafia grew weaker by the day, and that was why Grey was here.
The restaurant approached quickly, even if Grey was the one technically getting closer to it. His eyes glanced up to the sign and he pushed through the doors. The waitress took a look at Grey and approached. She was cute, but most women were. "Are you the princess that will be serving me on this lovely night?" Grey asked through his enticing smile. "I have a reservation. He is a bit shy, so probably left a note or something peculiar at our table."
The waitress ignored his flattery. Upon his last sentence, there was a visible click within her mind and she escorted Grey to his table.
Grey slid into his chair. His eyes instantly snapped onto the items; envelope, pen, paper, and a cell phone. The plan was obvious to Grey instantly. Kane's secrecy was of no surprise. After all, police and now Kira were seeking out people of their kind.
"Water," Grey spoke up to the waitress with a kind smile. "That is all." And she left.
Once she left, Grey placed his index on the top of the cell where he promptly gave Kane a signal: he tapped his finger 3 times on the phone. And that was all.

Takai knew this was the man, he clicked the send button on his cell phone making it dial the one that was on the table. This is it, he better make me not waste a bullet. When he put the cell phone on his shoulder he made sure he could talk through it and hear out of it. He responded through the cell phone which gave a fake voice at the end that constantly changed. "I am Kane the assassin you've been looking for. I'm the best at my job now, what is it you want. Also ensure you do not leave the table or say something that will make me kill you. At this range you wouldn't hear the shot and it would kill you easily sir."
He said it calmly and coldly through the phone.

The phone did not ring. It vibrated beneath Grey's thin finger. He didn't seem to react much to it. It was no surprise that the phone had been called practically instantly upon the waitress disappearing. It was obvious; he was being watched. Grey's default smile grew. Things had gotten interesting. How was he being watched though? The waitress. A nearby customer. Through the window of a nearby building. Too many possibilities, none of which he could confirm with no evidence.
With his thumb, Grey flipped open the phone and pressed it to his ear. "Hell-" The electronic voice interrupted him. The voice confirmed it; Kane. Kane also confirmed something else...at least, within good reason. That he was watching from a distance, with himself holding a long-distance gun or someone else with one. If he wasn't, his sentence would have been different: "At that range..." But he had said "this." This was all assuming that Kane wasn't being careful of his words, but who knew.
"You get to the point quickly," joked Grey, inserting a few chuckles. These people were all the same; they all used scare tactics. Right now, his head could easily be splattered against a wall. This wasn't a new situation. Grey leaned into his hand, his elbow propping up his head with his hand. The other hand pressed his ear to the phone, but in a casual manner.
Grey focusing in through the window as he half-searched for Kane, but he knew it was no use. Grey's mind tried to figure out a way to safely speak to him, yet in a manner Kane would understand. "How long does the rental car cost per day? While I'm in Japan, I may need it full time up until my business here is done."

Takai kept a eye on him as he replied through the phone still coldly and calmly, "A contract killing price depends, for example who the person is, how much information you can give me on them, where they are and what time, any police, media, or security, and if you want the target killed in a specific manner. Personally speaking I absolutly do not do public hits with media around, not even with a sniper rifle. Also as I am the best literally according to stats and that no one knows my real name even my hits are a standard of either weapons or chemical trafficking to me in payment or a half a million in yen since were in japan. Those are non negotiable attempt to lower them will be termination of any future contracts and the current one since I don't need these contracts really.
The paper, pen, and envelope in front of you is is for writing down any of these. If you need me on hand like a mercenary I still work as a assassin and the fee is the same also non negotiable. Also according to pre contracts this must be stated by all assassins to contracters. With the contract this matter cannot be taken to court or be shown, told, or signalled to anyone ever. Also, the information on the target will be sent via a temporary e-mail you will send me as it will be given to you by the same waitress on the way out in the form of paper. Also all hits will be paid in half before the hit and half after it is done. Also if you need to contact me go to this same resturant and e-mail me. Last thing before anything you need to say is that if your wasting my time I will terminate you now. I'd rather not waste a bullet on a yakuza member, but regardless I know your type you guys jockey for power. Since I am bored I might agree if the first hit is profitable and easy, if not then I wont consider it. Now please multi task and write the information and talk to me if neccessary."
He knew his type considering that his Bureau contacted this man for Kane. He of course would ally himself because the Bureau asked however they did it only because they needed influence in japan and cared less how it was done and what happened. Of course they were always ready to send him gear, but he preferred to have expendable gear so he could lead authoritys away from him. Hmm, he seems like a smart guy. He better not underestimate me, I am the best according to statstitics and that I ensure im never caught and that someone else usually is.

Grey's smile didn't wane, yet the man's words were kinda annoying. For an assassin, he sure was social. He would talk without letting Grey in at all. Though, this was probably for a reason that only an assassin would know or care about. So, Grey left it alone.
This guy's price was borderline extreme, even for the Yakuza. "Ah, yes, cars don't come cheap nowadays, eh? I'll have to check with my company." The Yakuza would have to work it out and collect their debts and whatever else they do to gain money. If necessary, Grey would steal a few identities and gain the necessary Yen. Of course, he'd prefer to not have to start off so early with a new crime, but it was a small price to pay. "But, it sounds doable, especially considering the model of the car."
The model of the car. Grey's spare hand moved away from his face and reached for the pen and a napkin. Elegantly, he picked up the pen and scraped its ink against the napkin in the correct formation. With a quick glance outside for civilians, he pressed the napkin against the window. KIRA was scribbled on it as best as one can write on a piece of cheap napkin, but it was readable, and certainly readable by someone who has good enough sight to blow off his head at that current moment. After a few seconds, he removed the napkin, and folded it into his pocket.
His smile grew even larger, some of his composure disappearing as a darker side of him showed. "Yes," he said into the phone, wishing he could see Kane's expression. "I have very little information on this model, but I know I need it taken care of. My organization will pay for it. They don't care what shape it is in or how well it runs, they just want it done." He paused, allowing this to sink in. "I understand this model is rare. So, I propose an easier method of getting in contact with one another. Maybe a specific work number or email?"

Takai kept the same calm expression after he saw the the word kira on the napkin, Kira eh, well the price has raised buddy. Hmm, that would mean no security, police, or media. Regardless if he can provide information, that would work. I don't think I could raise the price much. After that moment he stopped and replied into the phone not even taking the finger of the trigger, "Alright, I accept. Regardless, the hit has been upped to 500,000 yen and some techinical support if you have any. Also we need to meet in person, if you have so little information on the target then simply write it down. I will contact you, e-mail me when you have the tech support and half of the money ready on hand in a suitcase. Anything more to say then say it now otherwise fill the paper out put it in the envelope and take the phone with you i'll contact you via it."

"Did you really think I wouldn't check up on the progress? No matter how reputable your company is, I doubt you'll find the model in a short period of time, nor do I expect you too. Yet, as fast as possible is best, as I'm sure you're aware." With the pen in his hand, he pulled the paper closer to him. The pen was quickly used to jot down the appropriate information. Target: Rare Car Model Money will be payed: half now, half later; as requested. I will be checking up with your progress and will fill you in on new developments, and you should do the same. Expect the payments and an email within the next few days. Arrangements will be made then. "Is there anything else you need?" Grey asked as he finished. He dropped the pen. Nonchalantly, he folded the paper and slid it into the pale envelope. [Sorry, rushed post.]

Takai laughed through the phone, This guy actually thought he could find me!?! The fool would probably waste all his resources and not even get close. And if he did I am completely ready to boody trap my room and get a different one. He replied after he laughed somewhat with humour. "You can't find me, trust those words. Also unless your the techy which I mostly would need only a hacker of the best quality I doubt we'll talk again until after kira's dead. Also the techy in question is needed now unless your him, wait until I contact you. We'll meet in two days, bring the quarter million and be alone. Over the phone I'll tell you where and if we meet in person, if we do dont bring anything but the phone and a laptop with internet connection. You bring weapon of any kind that I will consider one and your dead and no one will hear of it until a few weeks."
With that he clicked the safety on his sniper rifle took it apart in less than four seconds, packed it and shut his rent-a-flip phone and pocketed. Withat that he took his suit case and headed back to his hotel.
{Go ahead and do one last post about your charries reaction, I'll make a thread at my hotel. In other words I contacted you and told you the room number. Its a rich hotel with two seperate beds and two seperate bath rooms, think suite.}

Grey's smile turned into a grimace. Why was Kane suddenly laughing so? Upon finding out it was about finding him, Grey's smile returned. Idiot. I never said I'd find you. I said I'd keep in contact. Man, this guy better prove himself useful, if not, Kira will get him, I'm sure.
As Grey listened, he nodded a few times. Kane referenced hacking, and Grey's head tilted slightly. Did Kane know of his hacking skills and was awaiting confirmation that he did in fact have them? How troublesome. If so, Yakuza was leaking information about him. The bastards.
-And then Kane hung up on him. Grey grimaced at the phone in his palm. He squeezed it firmly, glaring daggers into it. This guy wasn't smart, nor did he much manners. But, Grey calmed down and inhaled deeply; didn't want to make a scene. He pushed his glasses further up his nose before standing up and sliding the phone into a pocket. Leaving the envelope and pen behind, he left the table. A waitress held out a note for him and he gently removed it from her grasp, shooting a smile at her before exiting the restaurant.
Unfolding the paper, Grey read the email address on it. This was the email he'd get in contact with Kane with. Grey nodded at it before putting it away.
"So, step one is done with," Grey mumbled, chuckling a little bit. He had hired a world class assassin. He may not have world class manners nor brains, but physical attributes were enough. Now, he just needed to figure out where to begin on his search for Kira. First, however, he had to meet Kane face-to-face...for better or worse.
