Light Yagami takes a chance to gloat, as the pale albino boy falls to the ground.
"No, you switched a fake."
The boy's eyes widen is shock, and he falls to the ground, as Light, reborn as Kira laughs along with his first disciple.

Three months later, the man claiming to be Kira hijacks the TV stations in Japan and most of Europe and North America. With a show of power unknown or unimagined to any, all remaining prisoners in all major countries fall dead, along with the Pope, the Dalai Lama, and all other major heads of religion.
Kira's takeover is swift and complete. Within weeks, everyone on Earth is a Kira Supporter or dead. Those who aren't are quickly learning to fake.

Kira and his highest followers have finished with their re-modeling of the world. They have started enacting laws, that, if not followed, result in death.
Those who contribute nothing to society, those who have no use, or those who Kira just does not like have been reeducated or sent to the former nation of Russia, to Siberia, to pay for their sins, when death is not good enough.
