NMirror, Mirror ◊
echo has long black hair that is usually pulled into a messy pony tail and falls most of the way down his back (like raddits from dbz) and has a lock of green hair that falls over his right eye, he still has both eyes though his left is grey but not blind, which he uses to his advantage, but only covers it with hair so that it is easily accessible if the need for it arises. He has long rather pointed ears, though not like ‘elf ears’ or whatever, they are still longer than is typical and he wears blue earrings. His eyes are green, but his left eye has turned grey for some unknown reason. He paints his nails black and has a black tattoo of the kanji for shinigami on his lower left back, along with six others, a green one for fujin, a yellowish brown one for raijin, a blue one for suijin, a red one for kojin, a teal one for tenjin, and a golden one for amatsuru.
He is about 5’7” and has a very well toned body, though he isn’t excessively muscular, he weighs 214lbs, because he has the amount of muscle as a body builders, though they aren’t bulged out like a body builders, he does this by doing martial arts and gymnastics daily, for days on end in some cases, but as a result of his body being so heavily muscled he has to eat about 5 full meals a day, and suck on candy in between. His skin is a pale white and doesn’t tan at all because of a condition he has had since childhood

N What I've Done ◊
echo was born in japan and lived there until he was about 10, his (abusive) parents had died in a car crash when he was 9, and while in the first orphanage it was discovered that he was a genius, with his IQ in the range of 200+ he was found by watari and placed in Whammy’s House(where he got the alias echo). He lived there until he was 16, he was a candidate for l’s successor, but was denied the opportunity because of a few key character flaws that made him unfit to be even a proper police officer.
He left Whammy’s House at 16 when he was adopted into a very wealthy but old family he was the only adopted child out of five boys. When his new parents died he was left the entire estate and fortune, much to the dislike of his other brothers, at one point he was being attacked by killers sent by his brothers, though he never lost one fight, thanks to his extensive training, his brothers eventually came after him themselves and he killed two brutally and left two others with no feeling below the waist, leaving the third in a coma, the incident was captured on film, but was written off by the police anyway as ‘self defense’. Needless to say it was that kind of thing that kept him from being L’s successor.
After hearing about the kira case he decided to become involved in that part of his life again, leaving is home in Switzerland to come to japan in order to help L with the case.

N Take a Look ◊
Echo is very dark and synical, he always expactes the worst out of people, and like L rarely sleeps, he spends most of his time exercising because of an obsession of never being at the mercy of another being ever again, it is an unfortunate result of his abusive parents. During his time in Whammy’s house he lived with L and spent a lot of time with him, competing, fighting, doing puzzles and the like, it was hard to tell if they got along or not because of the way they both kept their distance while trying to analyze each other, even while doing everyday things (echo is younger than L by exactly two years).
L was the first friend echo had, though he wasn’t sure if L ever felt the same, this also caused him to keep to himself. He likes making things and doing manual labor, he fills his room with stuffed animals he has made, and they are usually what you would consider emo, even when he lived in Whammy House he would make them quite often for the other children. Despite his heartless nature he likes children quite a bit and cares for them in a nurturing way. He has a very strong sense of justice despite his willingness to do things that are blatantly wrong, but this willingness is what cost him the position as L’s successor.
All in all he is very smart and capable, he is able to think fast, faster than L in some cases, but in the long run it is L who is the smarter of the two. He ignores commonsense and has very good instincts, this also helps him in cases, he is able to read a person’s true personality even after a five minute conversation, this ability is also quite useful during cases, he is currently the best behavioral analysist in the world.

Grant stood on the edge of a cliff watching as an army of primids walked across the valley bellow “hm” he muttered just before walking over the side of the cliff and sliding down the slope like he was boarding. He slammed into the ground, landing feet first on a ledge, then pushed of dropping the rest of the way doing several flips on the way down, landing on the ground, back against the wall. He started running through the crowd of enemies, jumping from clearing to clearing, crossing the sea of primids, and standing at the foot of a huge stone golem. “oh great” he said sighing as he jumped into the air, arms back holding his weapons out, ready to fight.
