In this present-day world, there are creatures in the night that
we have come to call myth. These creatures thrive for their own
existence, live to kill, and bear hatred toward the humans that
have shunned them.

The race we know as the vampire has evolved. They are now
able to stand in the sun, though it harms them and depletes
their energy and they must often hide beneath a cloak. They
have gathered enough strength over centuries to possess mind
powers that the humans couldn’t possibly comprehend, and their
strength is unmatched. Unfortunately, their thirsts have risen
and they must feed often to survive.
