Traffic: both vehicular and pedestrian.
Beeping horns, a clamor of voices and the chorus of shuffling feet all filled the air. Joining this traffic was a woman in a well pieced pantsuit complete with a black hat and red and white feathers adorning the garter of the hat. Seille looked like an old-school American bad boy as her presentation at the museum was over. She sighed to herself, tugging on the black gloves into position. The crosswalk traffic moved to the other sidewalk, and she was taken along going to a shopping center to see if her things were picked up.
Her mind wandered a little bit though as she walked. Looking around at the people or at her own outfit and thinking of the current situation, she could only think.
Her foot came in contact with the sidewalk; she turned the corner, walking down toward stores, looking around for the one she was going to in particular.
"Oh, there it is," she said to herself.[/ul]
Looking both ways, she ran across the street with a slight smile on her face. She strutted inside the store and bowed to the saleswomen. Escorting Seille over to where her order was, one of the saleswomen commented on her wear. Seille looked down and laughed, remarking that it was for her job.
The saleswoman held up a finger to Seille, requesting that she wait as she went to the back to get her order. The historian nodded and looked around.
"Here it is," interrupted the saleswoman.
Seille jumped. "Oh wow! This is great!" She looked over the complicated outfit: safety pins, belts, patches...just what she wanted. "Oh! These shoes! Did they come with the order?"
"Oh you paid so much for this outfit: yes, it did."[/ul]
The saleswoman gave a smile as she took Seille's white slip from her. The historian watched her walk back to her starting place, looking from her outfit to her shoes to the woman over and over again. She shook her head, raising it to the ceiling and laughing to herself. Finally, after waving good-bye and walking out with her things in a large bag, Seille exited the store, walking on her way back to where she was going.
