It would've been the appropriate thing for Ryo to be working on his next story in his office back at his home, but that wasn't what he was doing. Instead, after walking around for almost three hours, he carried his bag containing his laptop into a local cafe and set up at one of the tables there. The sun was high overhead in the afternoon of this particular day. It was a beautiful day to say the least, and many people were outside enjoying it, but many more people were still looking over the Kira case and trying to figure out just exactly what is happening. Ryo was one of those people. If anybody so much as peeked over his shoulder and looked onto his monitor they would see nothing but New's sites that were tracking the Kira case. Ryo took a sip from his coffee, setting his bagel down to his right, and then his coffee mug to his left. He scrolled down.
Ryo was sitting at a table in the corner of the fairly large cafe. There were many people coming and going; most of the kids that stayed were university goers who were working on their various schoolwork. Ryo was wearing a black shirt that had written on it in red lettersSum-41, which was an American punk-rock band that Ryo found pretty decent. He had on black baggy jeans and his black All-Star Converses. He didn't have a jacket or coat on at the moment simply because it was very nice outside so he didn't really need one. Ryo leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath. He was still trying to put together enough information about the Kira case to write a sophisticated book about it, but the closer he got the more afraid he got. He was a writer, not a detective, and if he continued to investigate he was afraid it wouldn't end at all well.
What should he do now?
