A search for information

[jinsei]

Jinsei walked through the streets of Japan. He didn't have anywhere special to go, he was there to gather information. He did this usually but he felt something weird when he woke up today, he had a feeling of confidence. He thought that today would be the day that he actually learned something useful to at least put him in the right direction. He continued to walk down the street, looking at some of the people nearby, mainly the people that were having a conversation. He trying to eavesdrop on them without them noticing. So far, no one had any conversations about Kira and the ones that did, didn't say anything intresting or it was stuff he already knew.
Jinsei sat down in a nearby bench going over everything he heard. He noticed that people were calming down about the Kira case but it was still the topic of most conversations. Jinsei wanted to obtain information about L but no one knew anything about L so they just made rumors about Kira which didn't help him. So for the most part, Jinsei just went around on a wild goose chase these past coupel weeks. Jinsei decided to take a smal break and sat down on the bench and closed his eyes to take a small rest and would continue to search later.

[Havoc]

~Havoc had been following the human around for a while now since he absolutely had nothing else better to do. Havoc's main priority was to find and confront Kira but it didn't seem like it would be that easy. Japan was an overpopulated place and it would take too long to find one person with a Death Note, cleaning up the place. God (pun) knows how many Death Notes had been dropped by countless shinigami and how many humans received them, any one of them could be Kira. Hell, a shinigami could be Kira! But aside from that, Havoc still tailed Jinsei, hoping for a good time to cause some chaos. Havoc. The shinigami saw him trying to eavesdrop into different conversations but failed. He went to an isolated zone, away from the other commotion. The streets wasn't so busy that day..weird. Havoc opened his cape and took out the shinigami weapon known as the Death Note to an empty part. He took a small piece of the paper and jabbed it in the forehead of Jinsei.~

"Wake up human and meet god!"

Jinsei opened his eyes slowly and was a little dazed at first so he let his eyes adjust. He thought he heard someone say meet god but wasn't paying much attention. Jinsei let his eyes adjust and was startled when he saw what he did and closed his eyes and opened them again to make sure he was seeing things corectly. Jinsei jumped back and hit the back of the bench and was focused on the "person" in front of him.
"wha.. what are you? What are you talking about?"
Jinsei couldn't say for sure if this guy was even human, he dressed so weird and looked hideous. He didn't how he should react to what he was seeing. Heis faced showed a small sense of fear, his shock could be seen in his eyes but his face didn't change much, but this was still rare for Jinsei. Jinsei eventually calmed down and added on to his question.
"what do you mean by "human", i'm guessing you're implying you aren't human then?"
If he wasn't human, which he was 95% certain he wasn't, Jinsei wanted to know what he was.

[Havoc]

~Havoc swayed back and forth looking at the human until he finally woke up. A wide grin spread across his face as he looked at the human named Jinsei. The human stared at the beast, eye to eye, without shrieking for terror. Havoc's golden skull head slumped down as his pride was shot. This human was not scared of the shinigami that stood in front of him. How...pathetic for the shinigami. Havoc looked at the human and rolled his eyes.~

"What do you think I am human? I'm a shinigami!" Havoc said lightly.

"A Shinigami eh?"
Jinsei stared at the so called "Shinigami" for a couple of a seconds. He wasn't sure whether or not to believe that he could be a Shinigami, Jinsei thought it was just a myth, something made up to help explain the cause of death for most people. Jinsei stood up and looked into the Shinigami's eyes for a couple more seconds.
"I'll believe your not human, but your gonna have to convince me you're a Shinigami. I don't believe in those type of things, so I'm pushing it by believing this isn't a dream and you actually exist."
Jinsei waited for the "Shinigami" to respond. He was actually pretty interested and had very little doubt that he was lying but he needed to make sure this wasn't a lie, he didn't want to go around believing Shinigami exist and have it be false information. He also wanted to know if Shinigami were related to the Kira case. Jinsei heard that Shinigami can control people's death and know when they're going die, he also heard a lot of other rumors too, but If this was a true Shinigami, he should notice the number of people dropping dead and having there life cut short so he should have a pretty good idea on how and why they're dying.

[Havoc]

~Havoc jumped back and took a good long look at the human. How could he not be a shinigami? What proof did Havoc need other than looking like he did now. Havoc rolled his eyes and sighed in a childish manner and clutched his hand. Would he really go this far to prove to this person that he was the real deal? Why did he even have to prove himself to this human? He could just leave or kill him but...he never turned down a challenge~

"OK human. If you don't believe me then watch me kill all of that gang members across the street from us in just one hit." Havoc said. He opened his Death Note and began writing the names down of every last member who was at the corner. He opened the notebook to let the human see, not read, and placed it back in his robes, covered it with his cape, and watched. A pretty looking girl on a motorcycle passed by in the streets. The men looked at her and started wolf-whistling at her as she revved her bike and left as the others stood in the street watching her leave. Four seconds after she left a bus came honking it's horn, smashed into all of them, killing them instantly.

"Anymore proof and YOU'LL be dead"

Jinsei watched shinigami take out a black notebook and write down something in it. He didn't know what he was writing but thought he would find out if he kept watching. The shinigami then showed him the notebook and Jinsei tried to read it but he pulled it back before he could make out any of the words.
Jinsei then moved his eyes to the gang members and watch the girl go by, shortly after a bus came and ran over them, killing them instantly. Jinsei looked back at the shinigami and was now interested in him and his notebook. There was a chance that the accident was a coincidence but he didn't want to take his chances after hearing what the shinigami said after.
"What did you write in that book, Shinigami?"
Jinsei didn't know what the shinigami wrote but it he didn't have a doubt in his mind that the shinigami killed them by writing in the book. He also wanted to know if there was way to obtain that book but would ask that after finding out more about it.

[Havoc]

~Havoc shook his head and took out his scythe and brought it down in front of the human as his eyes pierced red. He dropped the scythe and went in front of the scene where the members died. He stood where they died and looked around at the first person who he saw. He yelled over to the human and told him what he would right instead of him watching him write it down~

"That human with the cell phone and green shirt shall die by a car. He will walk in front of you, wave hello, hang up his phone and give it to you, unbutton his shirt to his undershirt and run into the street where he will die by a car. You will get a new cell phone and that will be proof that I am a shinigami!" Havoc said annoyed.

~Havoc wrote down the man's name and waited fourty seconds. The man in the green shirt with the phone followed every last thing Havoc said. Havoc looked as he killed himself as the people looked and watched. After he died, Havoc turned to Jinsei and smiled~

"Proof?"

Jinsei had no doubt that he was talking to an actual shinigami and his method of killing interested him to a large extent. How does that notebook work? What did the shinigami write? Can Kira use this same method of killing? The questions Jinsei had were practically endless but he felt that the shinigami was getting annoyed and he didn't want to take chances and get on his bad side. He would have to find a way to casually throw some questions in but start of with only one or two questions. Depending on the answers, Jinsei could question them and hopefully not annoy the shinigami.
"Thats more than enough proof for me, but i have a couple questions about your method of killing if you don't mind. My first is, what exactly do you need to do to kill them? You wrote down something and told me the cause of death and the person you said died. Did you write down what you said and my second question is, can people other than shinigami's kill in that same way?"
Jinsei had a small smile on his face, when he gets the answers to the questions he just asked, it would be fairly easy to put two and two together, and if it's possible for others to obtain the shinigami's method of killing, there could be a good chance Kira might be able to do the same. All Jinsei had to do was find out for sure if Kira could kill in the same way as the shinigami and he could hold it against Kira and hopefully find out something about L.

[Havoc]

~The shinigami looked at the human and laughed. He placed his Death Note away as his wings expanded. Havoc wasn't the one to give out information freely to a human if it would benefit the human's cause. Havoc had a goal to find Kira and already he told A information that he wasn't supposed to. He shrugged and began spilling more information.~

"All I need to kill is a name and a face. It is easy to find the name...harder for this Kira to get a name because of my special ability. The directions of Death that I did was the thing I wrote in my notebook. If you want to see it then you will have to pay a small fee. And as for the third question you will need to pay me as well. What do I want though...GRAPES!" Havoc said. Ever since Havoc hung around A he had gotten fond of grapes. To say it was his favorite food while he was down in the human world, wouldn't be that hard to tell.

Jinsei listened carefully to the shinigami as he answered his questions.
So a name and a face is needed then... That wouldn't be hard for Kira to obtain since he's killing criminals and their names and faces are posted on the media.. A special ability? I'm guessing he can find out the name of anyone he meets? I'll need to ask him about that later... So he can write down the cause of death and the victim that he writes the name of, dies, that could be useful to any human, and Kira. He still hasn't answered my second question but it looks like I'll have to give him some grapes if I want that question to be answered, shouldn't be too hard to get though. I wonder if he knows anything about Kira, I'll ask him later once i know enough.
"Grapes? I'll give you as many bushels of grapes as my wallet can pay for if the exchange for them is information. Follow me and I'll go buy some."
Jinsei reached in his pocket and pulled out his wallet, grapes were pretty chap but Jinsei was a bit on the poor side since he didn't have a job but he wouldn't mind spending his money if he was going to gain some useful information. Jinsei had about twenty dollars on him which would be able to plenty of grapes so he wasn't worried about not satisfying the shinigami.
"By the way, do you have a name or anything I can address you by, or would you prefer i just call you shinigami?"

[Havoc]

~Havoc laughed as the humans crowded the dead humans. This would get Kira on people's bad side and they will look down at him from a God to a devil. This was going exactly according to Havoc's plan. Havoc walked from the street to Jinsei and looked at him. Havoc knew that Jinsei would ask him about the notebook, so he secretly wrote some fake rules in the rules section.~

"I take the name of many Zetsubou, Fear, and Chaos. But the name that I love most of all is Havoc." Havoc said.

~Havoc followed after the human, expecting his pay for doing absolutely anything. Havoc spread his wings and flew above the human while whispering "grapes" over his head. Havoc longed for grapes as he kept writing the fake rules in the Death Note. Some of these rules were absurd and easily noticeable as fake, hopefully Jinsei would believe that the rules were fake. Havoc tried to manipulate as many people to bring Kira down to his knees. Havoc looked at the human as he knew that he wouldn't be easily tricked but with Havoc's natural lying skills, he would be able to team up with the human and bring down Kira~

"What do you think of Kira...Jinsei?" Havoc asked

"Alright then... Havoc it is.."
Jinsei walked down the street a bit and heard Havoc saying grapes a lot, Jinsei would have never guessed a death god could bribed easily by a cheap fruit but Jinsei wouldn't question that. As Jinsei continued walking down the street he started thinking of questions that he could ask and payed no attention to the shinigami, that was until Havoc said something that caught his attention.
"What do I think of Kira? Hmm... I don't really know what to say about Kira, but his way of killing is strange. All of his victims die of heart attacks and they're all criminals. He's probably trying to win over the world and make himself a god. I personally think this a chance for me to have fun, with L after Kira, the situation is cat and mouse chase and I plan on being the one to dangle the cheese in front of the mouse and then dangling the mouse in front of the cat. I was actually going to ask you about Kira but you beat me to the punch."
Jinsei continued walking and neared the grocery store.
"We're almost at the store so I'll get you some grapes soon enough. Oh and by the way, if there's ever a situation in which you need to call me by my name in front of people, I'd prefer it if you'd refer to me as Ukiyo. This also brings up a quick question, can anyone see or hear you or is it just me?"

[Havoc]

"This Kira person is threatening the good name of shinigami! He is passing himself up as a god and he expects people to follow under him and call him a god. And if he accomplishes his goal then the shinigami are left blindly killing everybody they can, just to make themselves feared by humans. A human running the lives of others cannot happen, there will be no balance. Plus if the shinigami resort to killing off all humans then there will soon be no remaining shinigami left and the humans will simply die out by how long their lifespan is....Jinsei...it's creepy but you think the same way that I do. This "L" person is chasing Kira, as Kira is doing to him. There need to be someone to control these two...someone to how do you say, dangle the cheese in front of them. And hopefully it will lead to the downfall to this 'god'." Havoc said.

~Havoc rose and searched for the store where grapes were. He breathed hard and waited to get it while drumming on the walls of the buildings Jinsei and him passed~

"Hurry up human! I'm hungry! Oh and nobody but you can see me...well actually there is something that needs to be said. The person who touches or in some cases, are touched by the Death Note, can see the original owner, the shinigami. Other shinigami can see me clearly but those who I touched with my Notebook can see me. At the moment there is you...and another human." Havoc snickered

[jinsei]

"I guess we're on the same page then in some sense."
Jinsei eventually slowed down and entered a small store. It wasn't anything fancy and there weren't many people in it but the prices were pretty cheap and there was always a good stock of foods so Jinsei liked coming here. Jinsei walked down an aisle and looked at the price tag for grapes. He had enough money to buy about four bushels of grapes and he would have enough to pay for his dinner later. Jinsei grabbed a bag and stuffed four bushels in it and then walked up to the clerk and payed for them. He then walked away from the clerk and whispered in a low voice to Havoc.
"Alright, is this enough to keep you satisfied so you can answer my questions?"
This other person that could see Havoc intrigued Jinsei. Did Havoc give out some information to him too? This could be a problem, he might take matters into his own hand and end the chase between Kira and L. Jinsei wouldn't have this, this person might ruin the fun Jinsei was going to have with L and Kira. Jinsei was going to put his investigation on Kira and L on hold and find this other person and he would use the help of Havoc to find him and get rid of him.
"Can you tell me more about this other person and what you told him?"
