Shi sat cross-legged at the portal to the Human World, his Death Note open and a pen at hand. He was deciding what fun we he could kill an... Akio Nagato. By oberving him, Shi could tell he was a fairly depressed person who spent most of his days at work. This confused Shi, as he had no real family to go to, meaning he really only needed to provide for himself. After sitting for a few minutes, he finally decided what he would make him do. Akio Nagato - Suicide - 2:38 pm - Thirty seconds after 2: 22 pm, realizing that his life is a horrible and pointless mess, Akio goes on a psychotic rampage for the next 15 minutes, pushing over desks and knocking down his fellow co-workers, tears on his face from intense depression. Thirty seconds after 2:37pm, he quickly crashes through the nearest window, shouting his hate for the world and those who live in it as his fall leads him to an untimely death.
After he finished writing, he closed the book and watched as the Death Note turned this death into reality. It actually looked more fun than what he had written; then again, his imagination did not run all too wild, so this was to be expected. He chuckled slightly as he looked at some of the horrified faces of the other workers, too frozen in fear to do anything to detain the maniac. As Akio crashed through the window, Shi immediately places his notebook back in his jacket, under his cloak; he believed he'd had his fun for the day. So, he then just continued to sit there, watching the happenings of the Human World. Hopefully, something interesting would happen to spark things up.

"Did you really need to kill that man? After all, isn't your lifespan high enough or did you want to create more chaos then that man is worth?" Havoc asked. Havoc was all for pointless killing if it meant something but it was more fun if it had enough chaos. Havoc saw what was written inside of Shi's death note and wondered why he placed so much effort into one killing. The time of death, the cause of death all detailed and made by a shinigami. Maybe Havoc was old school and just wrote their name down in the death note, automatically giving them a heart attack before the day was done. Havoc's wings embedded with worn out broken jewels retracted back into his back as he stood next to the shinigami, Shi. Looking through the human world portal watching different humans trying to survive the storm called "Kira" was both amusing and annoying.
"Akio Nagato...he must've been very special since you wrote a whole novel on how he would die. Me personally would give him a heart attack, car accident at the most. I have to say though, in one killing there happened to be some chaos and confusion down there for the other co-workers. Pity for the victim, heh heh." Havoc laughed.
Today would mark Havoc's first day on looking through the human world portal and see a human die. Normally he was down at the human world, picking grapes from unsuspecting humans who was lucky enough to see the shinigami. That was until the old man told him that he had to stay in the shinigami world since he was causing too much havoc.

Shi looked at the Shinigami who has placed himself next to him. He's seen this Sinigami one or two times before, but this was probably perhaps the first time they've exchanged words with one another. He is also the first interesting being he's in awhile, so there would be no harm in letting him stick around; in fact, the entire conversation might suit the situation.
Though, his comment is not a rare one, unfortunately; many of the Shinigami tend to question why he kills the way he does; perhaps he should explain. "You can think of it this way: a heart attack is the equivalent to a name in the Death Note, nothing more; but, when you are specific with how you are killing, it is simply more interesting." Shi commented, pulling out his Death Note. "I have done this with several other persons for centuries, the possibilities growing as the humans advance their way of life and technology."
Shi opens his notebook and reveals years of entries, all about the same length. "There's so many interesting ways to do things; why not put quality in your quantity?" He closed it and placed it back in his pocket. "The death suited him anyways; those who live boring lives can die an interesting death." Shi adjusted a hair on his head a bit, as it had begun to point downward like the style tended to do; he wasn't paranoid about it, but it can be a bit annoying at times to leave it as is.
"I cannot help but wonder... what brings you to this side of the portal, Havoc? Did the King finally catch on?" Shi asked him, referring to when he would usually find his way to the Human World for some kind fruit... but he only knew what he did from word-of-mouth. "Then again, that's probably none of my business." It's a shame not much wind came around in the Shinigami World... at least it would a change from sitting around and exchanging words with random beings.

Havoc continued to look at the portal, laughing occasionally when the people crowded the portal. Shi did make a point, placing more details into the death was more interesting then watching them clutch their chest and fall on the floor, then dying. But to Havoc, it depended on how powerful the person was, rather than how he or she would die. Though Havoc wondered exactly why he would take the time out and place well detailed instructions on how they would die for seven humans. There was no point for a shinigami to work that hard to write names down in the death note. Havoc did find human technology to be useful whenever, the really rare times, when he would put details into a death. But the last time he used that was when the humans decided to use rockets to go into space.
"Quantity means nothing as long to me, since all of my work has perfect quality. And I thought that people who lived boring lives would use a boring way to kill themselves...unless a shinigami has anything to do with it. Although, I've seen spontaneous humans full of life and energy kill themselves in the most pathetic way possible. Exactly how long have you been watching him before you killed him today?" Havoc asked taking his scythe off of his back and placing it on the ground, still holding it.
Havoc scratched the hood on his head, copying how humans scratched their head when they didn't know an answer to something or was confused.
"The old man said that too many humans was finding out about the death note and I was causing more chaos then I was worth. It was either staying here or something else. Damn him though, I miss grapes." Havoc said pulling out a grape vine that was deprived from it's fruit. He broke a small piece from it and gave it to Shi, just because he had no use for it.

Shi shook his head; obviously, Havoc didn't understand his way of thinking. "Think of it as an ironic twist: those whose lives are boring, it is in fact their deaths that will make themselves interesting. It's cruel irony, but well-suited." Shi said to him, drawing a circle in the dirt. "Surely you of all people can appreciate ironic deaths, no?" He adjusted his cloak a bit so as not to show the clothes underneath; he did not quite know Havoc's opinion in his choice of clothing.
An odd expression revealed itself on Shi's face, as if to raise an eyebrow (last he checked, he didn't have any). "I can't imagine what he'd do if you lost your notebook down there... probably wouldn't let you go to get it back." Shi told him. "That's assuming you're really that much trouble in the human world." He turned down the offer of the vine; why in hell would he eat that?
He looked around; the place was pretty much deserted. "I really wish the other Shinigami weren't so lazy... the place is so dead, but everything down there is full of life." He pointed out a particular city scene in the portal, people running about in their daily routine. "Then again, I can't ask much; besides, to them, I'm probably too productive, so it's not exactly fair to judge anyways." He took the vine and decided to draw more circles with it.
"So, what have you been doing lately?" Shi asked Havoc curiously, and eye to the ground and the other to Havoc.
