NMirror, Mirror ◊
My skin tone is light brown, but my dark yellow, sparkling eyes look Japanese. I always wear stylish clothes of vibrant colors. I have long, black, freshly braided dreadlocks held back in a ponytail with one braid always hanging in front of my face down to my upper lip. I have both African-American features and Japanese features.
I wear expensive shoes. If I'm wearing a suit, I wear fedora hats (always much cleaner and fancier than the one Indiana Jones wore) that match my suit. I wear either a gold or a silver watch (depending on my necklace), diamond earring studs, and expensive sunglasses. I appear rather vain, and wealth is obvious.

N What I've Done ◊
My Japanese mother married an African-American man. My father was a wealthy, business man with part ownership of the Toshiba Financial Conglomerate, which currently rivals the Yotsuba Conglomerate. They raised me in Japan. I graduated salutatorian at age seventeen. Then, I left for the United States where I became a journalist using one of my father's connections in journalism. I soon also began attending Howard University. After two years in America, I returned home to Japan.
My father died of a heart attack just before I returned to Japan. I inherited half of his massive, financial legacy and a share in the company. This was more incentive to return. When I returned to Japan, I witnessed a man attempting to rape a twenty-one-year-old woman, so I did my best to stop him. He had a gun, I wrestled to get it from him, and the gun went off shooting him in the stomach. I took the girl and ran leaving the man to bleed to death. No one ever connected his death to me, and the girl has been my girlfriend since then.

N Take a Look ◊
I am a solipsist who only pays attention to the brains in the heads of every person I see. I always have a gloomy air about me. I seem depressed most of the time. I seem too lazy to remain in To-Oh much longer, but I'm actually a harder worker than one would expect. I smoke marijuana, now-- something that I never would have done before my father died. What matters to me most is that my mother never finds out that I am eternally distraught because it will cause her to worry.
When I meet people, I immediately begin accurately assessing their personalities. Mentally, I have always habitually cataloged the types of personalities I've encountered. As a result, I often predict a person's actions in a given circumstance based on my usually accurate assessment of their personality. I'm not otherwise interested in people.

N Just Move ◊
Can't beat me at wealth
Though you may win at quick, rational thinking
I Like marijuana
I Don't Kira
Keep Away Kira supporters
Abilities complete control of emotion
Weapons none
Alliance KSIU
Extra I inherited a large share of a company that rivals Yotsuba.

N Show and Tell ◊
Sasuke stood in his living room staring out the window. The window was massive; it was 60ft x 20ft. The rain was hitting the window unusually hard. He kept focusing and refocusing his eyes back and forth between the appropriate focus to view the rain and the appropriate focus to view his reflection. He didn't bother to brush the annoying, dangling braid out of his face. He heard plenty about Kira on the news as usual from the television on the wall far to his right. How mundane, he thought. He was idiosyncratically spinning his pinky ring with his thumb.
Kira’s will is absolute. Kira is justice. Kira is an omnipotent sign of hope for the good-hearted people. Why dance to the tune of a mad man? How powerful is this god right under the nose of whom I committed murder. For that matter, what justice killed my God-fearing father? There is a human with the heart of a demon acting as god.
Asuka walked in as energetic as ever. She expressed her joy after having seen Sasuke’s mother in her bedroom saying that his mother was looking much better.
“She’s not better. She’s worse than before.”
Asuka, paying no attention to Sasuke’s words, gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She sat down in a chair near the television and saw the latest on Kira’s activities. She used to adore Kira, but ever since her first date with Sasuke, she had made a conscious effort to adopt Sasuke’s opinions. She asked why Kira hadn’t killed L yet?
“Because he can’t. Why else?”
Naturally, her next question was how Sasuke was so sure. Needless to say, Sasuke hated conversation with his own girlfriend—another obstacle to happiness.
“Kira would have killed him already if he could, so since he hasn’t, it’s reasonable to assume that he is unable to do so. Don’t you think?” He asked in an attempt to get Asuka to think logically for herself.
Unfortunately, with one glance at her, Sasuke could tell that his effort to help Asuka use some simple logic was lost on her. Then, he turned his attention back to the rain. After a few seconds of silence, Asuka suggested they not let the rain stop them from going out somewhere. She was interested in a new restaurant not far from Sasuke's house. Sasuke didn't answer her; he just continued to stare at the rain. Occasionally, he would look down at the city. He wondered, how often does Kira visit Aoyama-- shopping and enjoying himself down there. Asuka interrupted his thoughts to ask him if he heard what she said about going out.
A few more seconds of silence came before Sasuke, with complete disinterest, finally answered, "Sure, let's go." They left in Sasuke's Mercedes and went to a restaurant. He was still enough of a gentleman to open the car door for her and hold the umbrella for her, but he was bored and angry with the world everyday. And all this fury that blocked his smiles and welcomed his tears was directly caused by Kira. His father had died of a heart attack, and many people assumed that Kira had done it. The words of one of his father's employees still reverberated off of the inner walls of his head. At Sasuke's father's memorial service, Sasuke overheard this employee saying to another employee that Sasuke's father was probably killed by Kira for unjust deals and trades in business. Sasuke hated Kira and all of Kira's supporters ever since.
Asuka sat at the small round table, and Sasuke sat opposite her. Sasuke sat with his left arm propped up on its elbow and his head resting on the knuckles of his hand while Asuka looked in the menu while talking about the random gossip she heard from some of her friends during a class. She wasn't nearly smart enough to get accepted into To-Oh, and Sasuke was glad. He didn't want her to come to To-Oh because he was already ashamed of her around those of his friends to whom he had introduced her. The real quandary was that he genuinely loved her. She, of course, was madly in love with him since the day they met. He had saved her life when Kira wouldn't, so she, a Kira supporter prior to the life threatening incident, denounced Kira and fell in love with her true hero.
Asuka eventually asked Sasuke why she saw him having such a good time with a short-haired girl the last time she visited him at To-Oh.
She’s so transparent. Jealousy leaks through every pore of her body over that completely meaningless conversation from yesterday. All we were even doing was talking. Plus, she doesn't think I know that she went to Kiyomi later and confronted her with some harsh words. Kiyomi called me the next day and told me that Asuka was hurling invectives at her and making outlandish allegations Kiyomi trying to date me.
"What girl?"
Asuka tried to keep from showing her building anger by nonchalantly recounting the entire event for him as she saw it.
"Oh, Kiyomi Takada? We were discussing the material for a certain class. I needed her to explain a few things to me that I didn't understand. She's really smart and really popular. Haven't you heard the name, 'Miss Todai', when you occasionally stroll the campus looking for me? That's her."
The buttons were pushed, and Asuka irascibly erupted with anger. She raised her voice trying to convince Sasuke that she was better than Takada in every way. Sasuke smirked as he listened to Asuka close her impetuously delivered speech by saying that she didn't want Sasuke to see Kiyomi anymore since it was obvious that Kiyomi wanted to break up their relationship.
"I highly doubt that. After all, we don't talk very often, and I don't think she and I really relate very well. Moreover, she's actually dating one of the guys I told you about who scored perfectly on the entrance exams. It's the most widely discussed relationship on campus. I remember his name is Yagami Light, but his first name is spelled using the Japanese characters for the word 'moon'. He's a genius with a cool name; she won't throw that away. Besides, I would never throw this away either, Asuka Hirano. We're in love after all. Aren't we?"
As Sasuke expected, Asuka swooned over these loving words from her ordinarily stand offish boyfriend. It was difficult, but Sasuke knew he had to try harder to pay more attention to her. He already knew that he was the only loving person in her life. He had to hold on to that. He couldn't allow himself to fall so low that he didn't even have love left for a sweet, pretty girl who'd die for him in a split second. However, yanking her emotions around was always a good way to release the stress that she caused him out of sheer stupidity.
