Atsuko has long,flowing light brown hair.She tends to put her hair up in loose pigtails.Also,she has short bangs.Her eyes are a light-ish brown.She has fair-colored skin,she isn't too tan and she isn't too pale.She's only a student,so she tends to stay in her school uniform a lot.She doesn't ever wear make-up,and she isn't really into nail polish either.On her free days she wears a white and deep blue striped long-sleeved shirt,light jeans,and white tennis shoes.

N What I've Done ◊

When you first look at her,Atsuko is a simple girl.She's an only child,so is lonely.She has only has one friend,who she only gets to see on Sundays,because her friend doesn't go to her school.She has no friends at school.She gets fine grades in school,and she never gets in any trouble at all.She is often praised in school by her teachers.She is also ignored by her fellow classmates,no one seems to get along with her.Some ignore her,and some bully her.Nothing is ever done,the bulliers are never caught and never punished.She used to feel empty inside.However,when KIRA appeared,she was overjoyed.She finally believed again that justice exists.She now stands up to anyone,and is currently a loyal KIRA follower.

Atsuko is a quiet girl and barely talks to anyone.However,she is very sweet and polite...to most people.She isn't good about talking about her feelings.Whenever she starts talking about her feelings,she bursts into tears.She also has a grudge against herself because she cried so much about not fitting in.Every once and a while,she still does.She despises crying.She believes that only the weak cry,and she doesn't want to be weak.However,when KIRA shows up,she becomes stronger.She feels as if KIRA understands what she's been going through (she thinks that KIRA understands her,and that he is her guardian angel for killing criminals and bringing justice to the world),and is therefore a loyal follower of KIRA.

During lunch,Atsuko took out a book once again.She glanced at the people laughing and talking together.She quietly thought to herself "Why can't I be like them?".A group of girls walked up to her."Hey? Quiet girl. Alone again? Make some friends and get a life!" yelled some of them."...Please...leave me alone...," she muttered to them.She didn't feel like talking to them and she walked away.She was at least glad that they didn't follow her to her new seat.
