Four packs were claimed throughout the island; the courageous Laowit Pack, the snobbish Mar Pack, the kind-hearted Lorose Pack, and lastly, the evil and conniving Shinko Pack.
They all lived in harmony, accepting their differences, but generally keeping to themselves. There were no allies nor enemies. It was an unending era of peace.
For all, but the Shinko Pack, it seemed. No one would ever suspect that they were planning the demise of the other three packs, despite that they had been known to rape females and torture slaves. Their plans were top secret; only the highest ranks in that pack knew a few vague details, for it was mainly in the hands of the alphess, Lyddie.
While talking about her plot to a loyal advisor named Loki, a shy omega from the Lorose Pack named Mosaic overheard their plans. The adviser happened to spot them as they walked by, and Lyddie conjured up a chase.
Meanwhile, Mosaic, who had outran the alphess and her adviser, heard them shout some words to her, but her beating heart drowned out the sound.
Mosaic, who was now stranded in the middle of Reja Forest, an unfamiliar territory for her, didn't have to guess at what Lyddie had said. She knew that her life was on the line, and it would either be war amongst the packs, or the threat of her own life.
Will you help her live or die?
