This is the first story Arc for Mathew that I have planned. Mathew is trying to fight his addiction to Sadism in this arc and slowly his resolve will get worn down. He will begin his trip down the path that will take him from upstanding honor student that supports Kira, to a serial killer who still supports Kira and wishes to be judged.
Current progress: Mathew's mentality has suffered a few major blows after the incident where he killed his first human being. The voices in his head have grown stronger and it has taken on a physical appearance and a name. The name of this other personality is Endrin and at the moment he seems content to taunt Mathew and play on his self loathing.
