In the dressing room the green haired hostess pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail and her braces sparkled with her smile. She adjusted her tie and threw the jacked on her; the purple looked very good on her. It took her awhile, but she had to do something while waiting for her special guests for the show. The speaker next to her played the light melody of the entertainer as Kagumi hummed along. “The entertainer the star of the show.”
She didn’t flinch when her door opened and one of the bodyguards walked in. She lifted her head and turned with a smile. He was a big black guy with a bald head and a salt and pepper beard, she had adorned him with a black tuxedo so he could stand by the door and her captives wouldn’t escape, they were all scrawny so they wouldn’t fight him. She had picked a good choice in guards, but she didn’t know how long it would be until Ed got here, or even if he would come. Hopefully he was willing to help her go through with this.
“Got them all here. Tied to chairs and ready to go Miss Michiyo,” the man replied in a pretty Jamaican accent with a grin, “and you are on now.” From the speakers she could hear her name being introduced and Kagumi quickly splashed on the perfume and the big beefy man led her to the stage in the darkness.
“Did you take their guns and watches and all of their knickknacks?’ she asked as they walked.
“Yes ma’am”
“Searched them all?”
“ All I left them were their cothes.”
She grinned, “That’s good, it means It will be well worth it.”
With the lights shining in her eyes she walked out to the cheering crowd, a smile on her face, “ WELCOME!” she yelled in a clear cheerful voice holding the mic. “ Welcome to…” she held the mic out to the audience,
“ THE DATING GAME!” came the audience.
“ That’s right folks!” she giggled, “ I am your host Kage Michiyo, and coming around soon is my beautiful assistant, Japans sweetheart, MISA AMANE!” Cheers erupted from the crowd and love emitted from the room. Kagumi beamed proudly, this was why she did this job. Now was the fun part.
Kage pointed at the curtain, “ Now that we are all aquainted, lets visit with our guests for today!” and on cue, the curtain lifted to reveal the lucky lady and her first victims

Ed glanced in the room. Well, this was an odd sight, and that's no mistake. He had gotten a message from Kagumi, telling him she had a job, and a possible lead he could follow. Was this the job she'd been talking about? And where was she, anyways?
He spotted her. Now, in the past, her disguises were...odd, and different from most, to say the least, but this was quite possibly the most outlandish he had seen yet. She was adorned in a purple suit, and her hair appeared to be green. He walked over to her, sheepishly. This wasn't his type of atmosphere.
"Kagumi? What the hell's up with this? I thought you said you had a lead, not a game show!" He exclaimed, after she made the announcement. He gazed around. There were three men, tied and bound to three chairs. Held against their will? That was against the law...
Though Ed had to say, Kagumi had a way of brightening up a day. He nearly laughed at the sight of them. One of them appeared to be trying to keep his composure, with short brown hair, quite handsome. The next wore pajamas, had white hair, and seemed completely uninterested in what was going on around him.
As for the third, he was scared out of his mind. That, or excited. Scared and excited, Ed settled on. "So, tell me, I can't possibly be a contestant on this show...unless you truly HAVE gone off the deep end. So, why am I here?" The contestants didn't seem at all happy at their current predicament...and he couldn't really blame them. After all, he had nearly lost his mind after a few minutes of Kagumi's eccentricities.

Just behind the shadowed doorway, she straightened the bright pink, steel-ribbed corset beneath her shiny, cropped leather jacket. “Tonight is going to be interesting…” She had to admit, she was rather enjoying it already.
As Kage announced her name, Misa stepped out from the doorway, her arms sweeping out in a wide flourish. The bright lights if the stage were only an invitation, the cheers a beckon for more. She enjoyed the way the lights played off of her leather pants and stiletto boots. “Why thank you for such a sweet introduction, Kage” She then stepped over towards the still lowered curtains, Bringing up an arm as they were raised.
Giggling in a rather charming manner, she winked towards the night’s contestant and her little “suitors”. Her smile bright, she sauntered over towards the men, placing a hand atop each of their heads one-by-one, running her fingers through their hair, chuckling all the way. “Which one of you handsome fellas are going to win the hand of our lovely bachelorette tonight?”
She took her spot to the side near the lucky woman, and gave an amused look at the man who had just walked in. “Hmm, he must be that body guard Kagumi was talking about.” And wasn’t he cute…. She giggled, excited for the soon to follow events.

She pulled the beanie down over her head and unbuttoned the high collar trench coat, letting it fall limply under her as she sat on the stool in the silence. Waiting for the host, she looked to her left and right before yawning and crossing her arms. She closed her eyes. [/i] she thought to herself.[/ul] There was a voice that announced the hostess, who bounded in with a rather...colorful choice of wear. She just stared, blinking stupidly for a second. When the audience screamed, "The Dating Game!!!"[/b], she was suddenly against this and, who was here? She looked up to see the blonde pop star looking in their direction. There was a sinking feeling in the historian's stomach. Seille covered her face with her hands and took a deep breath. There was no talking herself out of this. Unless she just felt the need to want to walk out and leave. She stood up and leaned forward, looking toward the exit. Big strong man was there to stop her. She looked at the ground as she adjusted herself back onto the chair. Her eyes trailed back to Misa, to the guard and then back to the ground again. [/i][/ul]

Now that the people were starting to creep in one by one, her smile continuted to grow with cheer. everything is going better than I thought. of course almost no one came willingly except for Misa. Notes were written, phone calls were made, and money was distributed. She had people working as guards just in case, and as for the boys, they all had to be tied tightly to their chairs and taken of everything but their clothes. She was very careful with making sure that they played the game. For what reason? there was none, it was just for kicks.
She turned to Ed, who had just found the place, " you made it!" she exclaimed. She put the microphone to her side and put a hand over it. " Yeah I do! you just have to wait!!!!" He found obvious amusement in their predicament and she giggled, it was that easy for her to bring so many people together she had to wonder why she didnt think of this before. " Silly, you arent a contestant," she grinned, "Your job is to make sure those three don't escape. The big guy over there," she motioned, " worked hard on his knots, He is an Ex Marine. You are a bodyguard," she nudged him with a high heeled foot, " now go guard!"
She put the microphone up to her face again, " And now we get to meet the lucky bachelorette who gets to take one of these equally lucky men home!" Cheers followed and Kage strode to the center stage, her gaze switching from the boys to the girl to the big guard in the back guarding the door as he surely should. but it wasnt complete yet. She hoped her friends didnt rough them up too badly, when he tied them up he said they were all out cold, but the feeling wouldnt be complete without the reaction of her three victims, then all she had to do was introduce them and the fun would really begin

He had no idea why he was there, or how he had gotten there, but suddenly, Matsuda Touta was tied to a chair. Huge men stood, watching, as a woman announced the Dating Game.
~The Dating Game? Oh no! Why me?~ Matsuda thought, freaking out. Staring out into the crowd, this Kage woman announced her assistant, Misa Amane. He almost flipped.
~Miss Amane? Why me?~ he asked himself again, struggling against the tight knots that bound him to the chair. He had been searched, and was only left in his clothes, no guns, no nothing. He was defenceless.
When Misa walked over and placed a hand on his head, the young officer flinched. In doing so, he caught a glimpse of the other two unlucky men. A white haired boy whom he didn't know, and... Raito. It was Raito Yagami in the third chair.
"What are we doing here?" he asked, hoping that one of the other two knew and would answer. He was scared, but also a bit excited. If the contestant chose him, that could mean good news for him. He had seen dating games before, and they seemed like fun. However, he had never seen the 'guests' get kidnapped before. Suddenly, something came to his memory.
He was waiting for a taxi to take him to the NPA headquarters, and one pulled up in front of his apartment. Climbing in, he noted that the driver seemed to be a large man, possibly from the Caribbean. The man glanced back and him and grinned, pressing a button above the clock. A glass window slid into place betweeen Matsuda and the driver, and instinctively, Matsuda guessed that it was shatterproof glass. A cloud of mist started to waft into the back of the taxi, and before he could react, Matsuda was fast asleep. The next thing he knew, he was tied to a chair.
~Oh man...~ he thought, anxiously.

She chuckled as Matsuda flinched and asked the others about the situation. “Oh don’t worry!” She smiled brightly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She tilted her head to the side slightly as she looked at him. “You should be happy and excited Matsuda!” She pointed to the girl sitting in the chair and said to him, “She’s cute!” before standing beside her.
Misa observed the night’s bachelorette, Seille, as she became rather distraught. She giggled as she watched Seille seemingly look for an escape. Ha! That was so not going to happen. Smiling brightly, she took a short step over so that she was directly beside the girl, and placed a hand on her shoulder as she sat back on the chair. “Oh dear, you must be nervous!” She chuckled and gently pulled at Seille’s shoulders so that she would be sitting completely upright in the chair. “Chin up, hun. How are you going to impress these handsome gentlemen if you are slouching in your seat?” Her tone was almost sickly sweet. Kage was right, she was going to have fun with this.
As Kage prepared to introduce Seille, Misa let go of the girl’s shoulders and motioned towards her in an extravagant motion, then stepped to the other side of the girl to motion towards the three captive men. She chuckled at Matsuda’s nervousness and sent a small wink towards Raito. He must be hating this. Normally the thought of her beloved’s misery would fill her with sorrow, but to Misa, this was a learning experience for Raito. Maybe he would see ho lucky he was to have her after all of this.
Keeping her smile bright, she strode over near Kage, standing just a few feet diagonally from the host. She spoke in a loud, bubbly tone. “And what a handsome bunch they all are, Kage! I am sure they are thrilled to have a chance with this lovely bachelorette!”

Seille groaned, looking at her knees, going through a series of thoughts that only tried to make this situation...better. There was no escape from what she saw. So she had to play in this little game--oh and she was the bachelorette. Bachelorette. Seille. Something that the woman would never think she'd hear. Bachelorette: the word played over and over in her mind. It stopped once there was a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to the blond pop star with a defeated look on her face. Misa pushed her down into her seat, back flush against the back. Seille's eyes widened, but her eyebrows feel in confusion. Seille winced; her right eye twitched at the sweet tone of Misa's voice. It was not comforting at all, despite what the pop star thought. She looked over toward the captive men, and, again, her eye twitched. She was tempted to pull the beanie over her head and just disappear. Of course, that was the childish way out of this situation. She had no choice but to play this game. She was, after all, the lovely bachelorette. Oh yes, it would be a wonderful game.

Ket walked into the entrance of the auditorium like place, hearing the introductions and such being made as she dropped down on a random seat in the audience area. This “Dating Game” was being talked about on the streets, and Ket always made it her business to know what was going around. Normally such things did not concern her in the slightest, but things had been hard lately and Ket figured it could be a good laugh.
She chuckled at the man with the dark hair, he seeming to be the most nervous of everyone there, even the “bachelorette”, who seemed quite distraught in her situation. “So, everyone here participating in the ‘game’ here were what? Kidnapped? Conned?” She was already laughing. “How amusing.”
That assistant there, Amane Misa, was a piece of work in her leather outfit there. She had seen ads with the blonde’s face plastered in them, heard both the locals and tourists talking about her out on the streets. In Ket’s opinion, she was a bit too “Media Pretty”. None the less, in normal circumstances, Ket wouldn’t hesitate to call out to someone decked out in so much skin tight gear, but it seemed she had had a change of heart as of late.
Placing the heels of her boots atop the chair in front of her, Ket leaned back and prepared to enjoy the show. That “Kage” looked pretty impressive in her purple suit and green hair. She had to admit that she had expected more people to be here already. There were a few sprinkling of random people here, but not as much she deemed appropriate for what promised to be such an entertaining event.
Idly, waiting for the fun to begin, her eyes drifted to the ‘bodyguard’ Kage had spoken to a minute ago and was unable to reign in the loud bark of laughter that bubbled up. Sitting up slightly, she called out towards the stage. “Oi! Gaijin! Good to see you again!”. Despite her usual composure, she laughed rather hard at the situation. Gaijin? A Bodyguard? Ha!
