I made another new skin! Yay! Chibi this time!
Personally, I STILL think that Kira vs L is my best skin so far, and it seems to attract more attention from guests. I think it's my best skin ever ^^ I put a LOT of work into that skin... and it turned out great! I love it so much because I used only photo manipulations of my own creation.
Evidently, however, I feel that I am gaining talent in an area I used to suck in, and it now doesn't take me long to make a skin ^^ I'm so proud! I owe it all to that lovely code that L sent me (different headers and footers for different skins).
Anywho, I actually like the Chibi skin as well, with Apples being my least favorite (sorry guys, I just wasn't feeling it, even when I made it I really wasn't sure about it at all). The Chibi skin is mainly white, which is something I've never worked with before, and the font (comic sans ms) messed with a few things, but overall it's okie dokie.
I'm so pleased I found that 'Death Note' header with the heart XD

Oh. o.o I completely forgot I had linked you to that different headers by skin code. xD I'm glad it's being useful then.
I'll have to second you on liking the Kira VS L skin best out of the three. I find it the most related to the fandom, somehow, and I guess it just appeals to the canon nazi that I am. But between Chibi and Apples, I'm quite undecided on what I like best. I think both are just as good, each in its own way.

The next skin should be a greyscale Deathgod theme, personally. I'd be willing to help with that one, even. That is, if you're taking suggestions.

The Chibi skin = love. A-dor-a-ble, ohmigod. Fifty- five thumbs up.
I guess I'm alone in this, but the Kira vs. L skin is my least favorite of the three ... I have an odd aesthetic, I suppose, but I've just never liked dark forum skins.
I like the classic dark font on light background deal.
Apples? Ma ma. I like certain aspects of it - like how the apples pop up when you mouseover forums, that's cool ... but yeah, I think you can tell you were lacking inspiration on that one. ^^
A Shinigami skin would be AWESOME. Or a Misa skin. Mello and Near! Yay. I'll be looking out for that one.

I love dark skins and hate light skins, so yeah... that's another reason why I like the Kira vs L skin best xD
And yup... Apples was forced xD I don't like it because I find it too plain.
Anyway, even though I said I was working on a Near and Mello skin, I gave that up a while back because I had no muse for skins. Now I have an idea for a Near skin, and a slight inkling for a Mello skin. I'm also working on another black/white skin this time based around the Shinigami (sorta).
But the Near one will be taking precedence if I can get the idea off the ground xD it'll be more gray-based, with manga images of Near.

That would be awesome. Both the manga Near AND the shinigami skin. Besides having a thing for dark text upon light backgrounds, I'm also a stickler for dramatic shade/color contrasts. Especially black and white. And with shinigami? FTW. xD
